SVP, Advice on Posting a Review

I recently had the pleasant experience of spending time with one of the "star" escorts on this site. Everything was superb, as I had expected.

 

My question is: He has well over a dozen positive reviews and I have nothing to add to those glowing reports.

 

Should I post yet another review or just write a fan letter in the deli?

 

Your advice would be apprecieated.

Post your review anyway. If an escort deserves a good review you shouldn't not post one just because he already has some on this site. Remember there are some escorts that have almost 50 or more on here. Hooboy limits the # and how often they get posted anyway. My point w/o rambling anymore, good or bad post the truth and let the rest of us know how that escort was. My .02 worth

i agree; it will just reinforce the other reviews for the eventual day when a medicore/bad one appears (everyone has an off day or it could just be bad chemistry).

As the dates of reviews recede into the past, it's nice to know that additional great encounters continue to happen.

if you have nothing better to do, post it. if your day is so empty that you have time to write the review which adds very little, sure post it. if you do not think that there is a book you could read or friend you could call, sure post it. if you are already up to date on all the latest in news and culture, sure post it. someone has to write the 15th glowing review afterall- might as well be those with nothing better to do. blu

Each to his own. I wrote a review which merely added a current update to an already well reviewed escort. I had not realized that hooboy expected me to provide a phone number for him to contact me. Given the dubious nature of our pastime (among other things), it is not something I felt comfortable doing.

 

So I shall remain a happy parasite upon the works of others...

Unless this is a change within the past couple of weeks, you may be mistaken. Of the several times I have submitted reviews, HooBoy did not ask for my phone number. He has, however, required a valid email address to be provided.

Heck, I have posted 3 reviews on the SAME escort (Justin #2 in NYC). Why?

 

1) Because he is my all-time FAVORITE cute and hot boy!

2) Because I saw him at different times in his "growing up"... at age 18, 19, and 20 (Twinkiest, twinkier, and twink)

actually, blu, there are times when these umpteenth reviews are useful. i'll give you two examples: emmett andrews has not been reviewed in around a year and ditto for james aka brian in nyc.

 

did they stop escorting, did they take a temporary break or have they taken to murdering their clients after collecting the cash(just kidding!)?

 

regular reviews keep us up-to-date. as a matter of fact, emmett was talking about starting to explore being a top, so go figure; a new review might give out new information.

I just posted my first review after being a user of the site and an infrequent contributor to the message. Just got an email from HooBoy asking for a phone number which I gladly provided. Actually gave him two numbers. Perhaps also it was because my post was a first.

That may well be. It's getting more and more difficult for a first-time reviewer to get a review posted because of various nefarious goings-on in recent months.

 

It could also be that something you said in your review doesn't jive with previous reviews and he just wants to verify something.

 

He's been doing this kind of telephone verification all along, but not on every review (which wouldn't be humanly possible). I know I've been contacted when he was chasing down the validity of an escort's claim that a bad review was bogus. (WAY bogus!)

 

He's just doing his best to maintain the credibility of this site.

No argument from me. Hooboy's site, Hooboy's rules. If that's what he feels he needs to do to maintain integrity.

 

However, I, and I'm sure others, don't feel the need to participate sufficiently that I'm going to give him my phone number. After all, for all purposes he is a stranger to me.
