It's been several years since I was in Key West and I have vacationed there 3 times, once the week between Christmas and New Year's. Things may have changed but in my experience, the escort scene was almost non-existent. Key West is a gay destination but different from other sun spots like Miami or Fort Lauderdale. Those are real cities and each supports a large contingent of escorts around the year, augmented by visiting escorts around this time of year and spring break.

 

Key West is basically a village, that comes alive in the winter. A lot of gay couples go there and some singles but they seem to rely on the casual pick-ups, if at all, that are available in the gay bed and breakfasts that abound. Also the cost of living is extremely high there, like the Caribbean resorts, and making a living to support those costs would be a challenge for the average escort. Maybe others will have different experiences but those are mine.
