I will not give details?

I'm coming to the conclusion that a review that climaxes in one of the following lines is not a review but a promotion:

 

"I shall not go into details..."

 

"I would rather not say what happened, but..."

 

"I will draw the curtain of modesty at this point, but..."

 

One would think that on this site, legitimate reviewers would not retreat behind phrases straight out of 19th century novels.

 

I don't know about other people, but when I hire an escort, I want sex. I admit I'm less interested in how the guy was on the phone, what bubble gum he chews, and what movies he likes, than whether he is skilled sexually and what he does sexually.

 

You don't have to give your own life history to be taken seriously as a reviewer. You don't have to give all the details, a la "I was attracted to my scoutmaster's orthodontist's receptionist, so now, 11 years and 4 months later, I get an erection when I see a guy with crooked bicuspids."

 

But readers DO want to know whether and how well an escort being reviewed sucks/gets sucked, fucks/gets fucked, massages, kisses, etc.

 

The hardon is in the details. Anybody else agree?

It seems like every third review contains the phrase "I won't go into details...." I am also surprised when the term "boi" is used in a review written by somone in their 40s or 50s. You really have to

take all first time review with a very large grain of salt.

This was at the behest of the escort himself, who did not want details to be put in print. Probably out of need for his own discretion. I honored that request. But I'll admit that it is frustrating to read such drivel. Of course we want to know the DETAILS! As a bottom, I want to know EXACTLY how this guy is going to top me if I hired him. Does he kiss? I'm probably "guilty" of writing reviews like this because, for me, the personality/attitude/demeanor of the escort is at least as important as sexual performance. It isn't that I don't want to have sex when I hire someone -- I certainly do -- it's just that exactly how that sex ends up being is less important than feeling like I'm actually connecting with someone in the moment. If a sexy guy is interesting, passionate and communicative, I'll enjoy being in bed with him regardless of his "technique."

Well, yes, there actually are several posters here who seem to think we are interested in their "infatuation" with this or that escort. A couple of the frequent escort posters here have fans that never miss an opportunity to remind everyone on the board how highly they think of that escort. I myself, really don't care much for the no holds barred reviews, and if the reviewer doesn't feel comfortable going into such intimate detail, then he should not be criticized for not doing so. At least he is taking the time to make a contribution that is of value to some clients. To criticize this, is only to discourage the client from submitting further reviews. Did you ever stop to think that once a client has a couple of reviews under his belt, that he might just feel comfortable enough to open up a little more? But no, just go ahead and shoot another one down, so we get to read the same type of reviews by the same type of reviewer over and over and over.

 

Really, I take a heck of a lot of the super graphic reviews with the proverbial grain of salt. I believe a lot of them are the result of a very vivid imagination and self ego boosting braggadocio. I really don't care if you have a virgin asshole, and really don't believe that all of a sudden such unexplored territory had a 10" cock pound it in all positions for an hour non-stop, with the escort shooting a wad 20 feet across the room to splatter against the wall, while the escort is shouting that you're the best damn fuck he has ever encountered. That said, I wouldn't discourage reviewers who don't care, for whatever reason, to disclose all the salacious info. I very rarely read the personal experience part of the review, unless it is a review by a fellow poster on the mc who has similar tastes/interests in escorts, such as Chuck. I usually just click on the photo, and if I like that then I read the stats part. If I can see from a very quick glance that the personal experience is one of the overly graphic types, then I skip it and scroll down to get the reviewer info, then exit. I don't go back and read the personal experience part - most of it is just cheap, sleazy, boring porn to me. The only time I will read it is if someone opens a thread about the review.
