The one piece of advice I will repeat from both clients and escorts is to get to know your escort first, for a short duration hire, before engaging on a longer session. This will benefit both of you. If you live someplace where this may not be possible, you might consider traveling to a city where two or three escorts to your liking reside. Talvin, for example, travels regularly and frequently. If there are two escorts you like in New York City, travel there when Talvin is there and hire all three.

You did not say so, but I assume you are asking the escort to travel to your city for the overnight. If his is in your city, there would be no reason to pay in advance. But if he is traveling, he is entitled to have his travel paid in advance. (It is better to pay for his ticket, rather than giving him the cash) And he is entitled to some part of his fee up front to protect him if he shows up and you don't show up or for some reason don't pay him. He would be foolish to travel without something up front. But if you pay him too much up front some escorts will start to think that he has already gotten most of his fee and it is not worth it to travel for the rest. You have to assume that they are all hustlers until you know him very well. I would say that generally a third up front is best since the remainder he can expect by coming is enough to give him the incentive to come and not to stiff you. In my experience, Talvin is very professional and experienced. You can probably trust him but it would not hurt to negotiate for a third.

That is the most exorbitant overnight fee I have ever heard of and is something I would never pay. That sounds more like a weekend fee than an overnighter. I'm sure that given what I've read about Talvin, that he would be okay sending 1/2 the fee in advance. I personally, feel that paying for a plane ticket, giving my personal legal info and hosting someone in my home, is more than enough indication that I'm not a flake who is going to be a no show. I would never hire someone who demanded 1/2 of the fee upfront before he even agreed to get on the plane, as anything on either side could prevent the meeting from taking place.

 

My personal feelings are that no one is worth that much up front, and don't understand why an escort would expect a client to take all the risks. I wouldn't do it, because imo, there are a lot of other escorts out there who wouldn't make such demands and I'd just deal with one of them. I'm sure I could find one who is just as desirable and just as good if not better. For instance look at you, who imo, is much more attractive than Talvin.

You know what, he didn't ask me to send partial payment in advance, as I only had to pay for his air ticket. You want to know something else, I don't think I will ever encounter anyone else I would do that with, so I guess I was lucky that the one time I did it was with someone who didn't take advantage of my naivete. And as a final you know what, it is still the only escort encounter that I will always cherish.

I have never payed anywhere close to that sum, and only once have I paid any deposit in advance (and it was only a fraction of the total sum, and it was to cover certain of his expenses). The fact that you buy a plane ticket is enough of an indication you're serious. I would also advise against making a long-term hire commitment without hiring someone for an hour first. I strongly advise against sending such a deposit, unless you're so incredibly well-off that this sum of money means nothing to you.

I agree. I have a lot of respect for Talvin, more than respect... outright lust!! But I'm just not going to pay that kind of money for an overnight or for an hourly with anybody... well may be with Brad Pitt (now that is my idea of a porn star -- in my dreams anyway :+ ). Says nothing about Talvin... I just can't get that much pleasure given my old bones. Much of my pleasure derives from the cerebral anyway, though not all. }(

 

Personally,l I have found all I can possibly want and a LOT MORE for $700 US per night. I have paid more for less and I have seen more than a few for overnights. Interestingly, the best experiences were the more reasonbly priced. I attribute that not only to the personalities of the guys but to the fact that they preferred the overnight over the hourly and because of that they brought something special to it. Then again, maybe I'm just a special guy that brings out the best in others OK, enough BS. :+

 

Having said what I have, there are those that are willing to pay whatever for what the want and often they feel justified and satisifed. More power to them and the objects of their desire. There is room for all tastes and rates and matches will find each other.
