Was in San Antonio and really loved the Riverwalk, nice restaurants and great views, just a leisure walk along the river is invigorating. And I never realized that there are a number of gay clubs just outside the city: beside the Alamo, there is the Bonham (Club?), now this is a teen club and gay bar at the same time, so don't be surprised. Go go boys do dance there after 10 pm and it is the end of Bonham Street close to the Alamo, so you won't miss it. And then just outside the city, 1/2 a mile drive, a couple of bars with go-go boys abound: the Heat is great, the Saint, Pegasus(?) and another club. I was just there last month and I forgot the names already, but these four clubs are close to each other, in fact, you can park at one club and walk to the others. Nice location, great dancers and you can bring them home. I fancied one dancer at the Pegasus(?) (hope got that right), except that we missed him as soon as him time was up because someone came before us, as we were cruising the other bars. Just being in San Antonio and enjoying the restaurants: I believe the Tower of whatever is not to be missed(?) again, not sure of the name, but same as the Space Needle of Seattle where you can have a romantic dinner overlooking San Antonio skyline is good enough. But not enough to complete our stay without the gay nightlife. The young gay front desk clerk at La Mansion, where we stayed, was so helpful that we can't thank him enough. You don't have to stay at La Mansion, we just happen to stay there, beautiful hotel, but this guy really made our stay worthwhile. Go see him and ask, he usually works in the PM at the hotel and he will tell you everything you need to know including how to get to these locations. Don't know your preference but San Antonio's go go boys are passable. I live in NYC so if you are looking for Gaiety material, then you they may not live up to your expectations. But at any rate, they're alright. Enjoy!

I don't know who the best escort in San Antonio is, however, Benjamin Nicholas must be one of the very best in the city. I can't wait to get down just to see him. Let's begin with the clubs/bars:

As you can see, SA loves its drag, so my best recommendation if you're not a fan is to go out on Saturday when all shows are dark. Other than bars, the Riverwalk offers some awesome dining for just about any taste. Your best bet is to stay centrally downtown~ with the Emily Morgan & The Westin being the better places to shack up in. Both recently rennovated hotels with every amenity possible.
