HELLO, MY NAME IS HAUS. I TRAVEL AROUND THE COUNTRY DOING PRIVATES. I RECENTLY HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH ATLANTA'S LOCAL MAGAZINE, DAVID ATLANTA. APPARENTLY THEY ARE NOT TAKING ANY NEW ESCORT ADS. THAT IS FINE AND UNDERSTOOD IF THEY WOULD HAVE TOLD ME AS WELL. IT WASN'T UNTIL AFTER I ARRIVED IN ATLANTA AND CALLED THE COMPANY THAT I WAS INFORMED. PRIOR TO MY TRIP EVERYTHING WAS SET, PICTURE, PRINT, AND CREDIT CARD INFO. GRANTED I KNOW A LOT OF GREAT PEOPLE IN EACH CITY, BUT IT'S ALWAYS NICE TO MEET NEW FRIENDS. LIKE ALWAYS I APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S SUPPORT AND I APOLOGIZE FOR THE PEOPLE THAT I COULD NOT SEE. MOSTLY FOR NOT KNOWING I WAS IN TOWN. DAVID ATLANTA MAGAZINE COST ME TIME, MONEY, AND MOST OF ALL DISRESPECTED ME. I'D ASK IF YOU WOULD NOT SUPPORT DAVID ATLANTA MAGAZINE. THAT IS NO WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS, ESCORT OR NO ESCORT. THANKS FOR YOU TIME

Haus, it is considered bad form to type in all caps, not to mention making it more difficult to read. I regularl pick up David Atlanta Mag and will certainly let them know my feelings on the subject. Best bet as always is to post our travels in the escort travels section on this website.

This is the third traveling escort I've heard of placing an ad (and paying for it) only to have the ad not materialize in David Atlanta over the last few months.

 

"Oops, we forgot" works the first time, MAYBE the second time. By now, it's starting to look like a pattern. x(

 

(And by the way, I've yet to hear any mention of a refund for the cost of the ad.)

Amazing what happens when you do a couple of films for the major companies.

 

I am still trying to convince myself after years of having sex that when I do a film for a major company I will gain the super human sexual skills and knowledge that the porn stars of today somehow learn that entitles them to charge 2 + times the rate that is charged by the rest of the industry.

While many will think Haus' rates are high (and I am not saying they aren't), the fact is that he has built a strong clientele and obviously gets the rate he is asking for. I am not sure if this is the case, but a year ago when he was in NY he had a sliding scale based on activity. I had the pleasure of spending some time with him (Curiousity got the better of me) an I can say the time was great.

 

Now agian, not justifying his rates, but then again, an escort is going to get what they can, and if he can charge what he is charging and still have clients then of course he is going to do it.

If the magazine accepted your money, didn't run the ad, and didn't refund the money, that's fraud. I would (1) notify the credit card you used, and ask them to reverse the charge, and (2) notify the Better Business Bureau. I recently did that for a company who refused to refund money they owed me, and not only did I get my money back, but the BBB referred the matter to the state's Attorney General. The business does not have to be a member of the BBB for the BBB to help you (although if the business is not a member of the BBB, they don't have to answer to the BBB).

There's nothing illegal about being a escort, as long as you're not promising sexual activity in the exchange for payment.

Looking at their classifieds, it looks as if they lists their escorts as "models" instead of "escorts."
