"Meet the Stars" Program

Has anyone used David Forrest's "Meet the Stars" Program in which you pay a fee to meet one or more of several stars on his website? What do you get for it? Do these stars escort--or might you be stuck paying a lot of money just to have coffee with one? Specifically, I'm most star-struck by Rod Barry, Andel, and Billy Brandt.

 

Please advise!! I'm willing to pay - but would like to know more about what I can reasonably expect, or any personal experiences with these guys especially from anyone who might have used the program.

Honey, for $400 you better have more than coffee. Why would anyone pay that just to HAVE COFFEE WITH THE STARS?

Of course, David Forest, their agent was in jail for something like 18 months a few years ago for pandering (THAT'S being a madam).So, in order to TRY to be more insconpicuous in front of the law,He pretends to JUST INTRODUCE you to the STARS and then it's up to the two of you to develop a FRIENDSHIP or (like meet for coffee, whatever you want to call it.)

If all you want is an introduction and are willing to pay $400 for it, I have a bridge I can sell you very cheaply.

In any case, go to Butch Harris' website and he has the e-mail or website address of most porn stars. And guess what????it's free. Of course, there's no guarantee that they will respond to your e-mail...David Forest, for $400 probably guarantees it. HOwever, he DOESN'T GUARANTEE that you'll get laid. Hell, that would be against the law.

Or does it just take advantage of people who pay $400 and get little to nothing back? I did e-mail a couple of these people directly; the reply I got back was that they'd be up for meeting but that I had to go through their agent, Forrest.

Jeff: I hired Billy Brandt through the program a little over a year ago. It worked out fine. I got put in touch, and had a great time with Billy.

 

It is not cheap though, as you pay Forest, and then independent of that, you negotiate the fee with the pornstar.

 

Summary: Very expensive, but not a scam.

I am a little surprised that happened. I guess it is nice that the people David represents are loyal to him but my question is how would he (meaning David) have ever known is one of "his people" would have had an appointment with someone that was not set up through him.

 

I did contact one of David's stars last year when he was appearing at a local bar here in my hometown via email to ask about an appointment together. I did get a response from this performer with rates quoted. As it turned out I was not able to get together with him but I was not advised by the performer to go through David. This person is under Davids "meet the Stars" program now but I cannot remember if he was when I got in touch with him a year ago.

 

Maybe I am greedy but if I was one of those people who was under David's Meet the Stars program and someone contacted me directly, I would still get together with them and not advise them to go through my agent. If someone is willing to pay $400.00 just to get my cell phone or e-mail address and then still pay me for our time together, why would I want my agent to get the $400.00 when I could probably set a higher rate and get a portion of it.

TB, I don't think it is unethical to bypass the middleman if you can. If you don't need his service to contact the escort, why use it? If these guys are under exclusive contract to him, it is up to him to enforce it, not us.

Lucky - I think you missed my point here. The poster said that IF HE WERE AN ESCORT and was under contract to David Forest, he would have no qualms about cutting Forest out of a particular transaction, if the client approached him directly.

 

So it's not "us" or the clients I thought to be unethical, it's the poster, because he admitted he would not abide by his contract.

 

The downside for the escort could be that if Forest found out about it, he might drop the porn star/escort from his roster.

David is a business man. This is his business. He doesn't force anyone to use his serivces. I have said many times that I would not be inclined to use it as I do think you can get in touch with the most of the guys via other avenues, however I wouldn't rule it out (for instance if Jake Andrews ever came back to the US and was available I would probably jump at the chance).

 

We all spend our money in different ways and if the service is a value to someone who are we to judge.

 

David never misrepresents what the serivce is and provides.

Not very likely. David Forest will take on just about anyone.

 

Last I heard, he was still repping Chad Connors who is the guy that ratted on Forest in the sting that landed him in jail. He took on Blade Thompson who promptly landed in jail. He's taken Ryan Idol back several times, after apparently "loaning" money that wasn't paid back. He took on Jeff Palmer once Falcon (and pretty much the rest of the industry) was over him.

 

Being listed with Forest isn't difficult. Most of his guys are there because nobody else will put up with their shenanigans.

 

There are exceptions. Forest is now repping Michael Brandon for club dates, for instance. But I'm willing to bet that Michael is as open and approachable NOT through Forest as he always has been. I suspect Michael just got tired of the clerical hassle of booking club appearances. (And I'll ask him next time I see him. ;-))

Last summer, I met one of David's stars, but I went through the escort directly. I contacted Forest about his program and when he indicated how much it would cost, I decided otherwise. He was really pushing me to joing, offering "deals" but I wrote back that it was far too much to pay for meeting someone and then having to negotiate a deal on top of that. I also wrote that I had met with other porn stars and had success by contacting them directly. He wrote back that with his program, I was guaranteed to meet the star, whereas the star could make other arrangements. I let him know that I was going to try my luck with the star directly and asked that he not interfere and he indictated he would not. I met the star by contacting him directly and we discussed the program afterwards, as he asked me if I was participating through David. I explained that I wasn't and he told me that if I was, he would get a portion of that money. My guess is that David probably turns over at least 1/4 to the star. It would make sense for the star to suggest potential clients contact David, because on top of the fee, he gets a kickback from David. The star also told me that it was designed to bring together escorts with clients to whom money was not an issue. I told the star that it was all a little to rich for my blood. The star's fee was reasonable and I could handle it and we had a blast together. Also, it was right in line with other porn star's fees.

Would that not put David back into the same catagory as before, i.e. Pimp and Living of the Avails of Prostitution, which is why he was convicted before?

 

I would think his pretense of being an introduction service would go up in smoke if it could be proven that after meeting the client, sexual favours were exchanged for $$$. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I think he is walking on a razor blade here.
