My first ever trip to the American continent from Italy was Brasil, 40 (OMG! YES!😱) years ago. I saved the money, put it together and went there for 10 days deciding to have a great time.

I was 25, handsome and very attractive, I had just ended a 4 yours relationship with a boyfriend and my "extra marital" experiences were really limited.

I went to Salvador Bahia and to Rio, I will never forget how many hot men I saw around me, and how I could have chosen to have sex with 20 men a day!

But indeed I hooked up with  3 men during those 10 days, I still remember how amazing the sex was with them...

Yes on economic inequality but it’s not just economics. culturally, in cities like Rio, bodies are veryyy public: beaches year round, sungas, gyms, carnaval, nightlife, bodies are on display and erotic attention.

It’s also dense everywhere..That density creates repeated encounters and exposure to other guys doing the same. A young man working near Copacabana, Ipanema, Lapa, or a tourist district may regularly meet foreigners, wealthier gay men, older patrons, or peers already involved in transactional sex. I mean i know men from brazil who are flewn out by american men to the states.

He learns that his body, masculinity, and charisma have value and a foreign demand. that’s why many of them are masculine.

economic vulnerability meets a culture that makes sexual desirability visible and a city structure that makes clients, tourists, and guys encounter one another constantly. and it repeats.

There is a YouTuber I sometimes see popup in my feed who recently moved there, I don't know if its permanently, but the fact that he is using it as a home base for work and also learning the language tells me a lot. He already has a distinct advantage, he looks Brazilian in features, body aesthetic and he is learning the language. Good looks, American, he is gonna have many days of hot times. Sure, his YouTube is pushing the PG stuff, I can tell you its the men he's there for and I don't blame him one bit! Look at all the major OF creators especially big ones like Rhyheim Shabazz and Matthew Ellis, so much of their content is with Brazilian models.

The stereotype that Brazilians are hyper sexual and passionate is apparently common knowledge enough to the point that I frequently see Brazilian providers mentioning Brazil on their display name even, not just in their bios
