Okay.  Here we have a young man who only communicates via RM Messenger.  That's fine.  I reached out on 9/8 inviting him to take a look at my profile.   The first thing one obtains from him is an automated canned response asking the prospective client to supply a date to meet and things can be taken from there.  Fair enough.  I responded and suggested Thursday, 9/17 since I would be in Houston from 9/16 - 9/18. 

Three-and-a-half days later (3-1/2 days!!), on 9/11, he replies indicating that he in fact has availability on 9/17 and suggests that I throw out a time.  Again, fair enough.  I threw out 3 p.m. (but indicated later was also fine) and inquired what his rate for a one-hour session is.

Two days later, 9/13, he asks (apparently unable to refer back to the fact that I would be in Houston from 9/16 - 9/18), "Are you in town and interested in meeting?"

I reminded him I would be in town from 9/16 - 9/18 and was definitely interested in meeting and AGAIN asked his rate for a one-hour session.

On another post pertaining to Sam Rockdale, @robberbaron4u made the analogy of providers being like cars on a car lot for purchase.  I indicated that the only problem with that analogy is that, when purchasing a car, the salesmen usually acknowledge your presence and don't just ignore you, and I pointed out the fact that ShaneM had done just that (ignored me despite visiting my own RM Profile twice in six hours).

Using the "car salesman" analogy, this "salesman" (i.e. Trevor_Pleasure a/k/a Trevor_Discreet a/k/a Trevor_D) demonstrated an inability to even keep simple facts together about when I would be in Houston and, for those curious, after asking for his rate twice (very politely), he simply proceeded to ghost me to this very day!

So, in some respects, this vehicle lot robberbaron4u references seems to need more professional salesmen for sure. 

There is a third incident of this in Houston that has transpired with me within the last week, but I'm too tired tonight to address that one (too much college football, including LSU's just-completed loss to Ole Miss).  I'll post on that one tomorrow.  It will be much shorter and like the ShaneM post, but I felt this one warranted more coverage since any good car salesman will at least quote a price!
