How much is a basic tip, I guess for sitting with me 10 minutes?

For the shower show?

For touching fondling groping?

Kissing?

Sucking him?

If he's sitting with you and it's wanted, and you are actively feeling him up, I'd think 100 pesos is good for ten minutes (that's $5 USD). Otherwise get rid of him with a couple of 20's, while you clearly say "not thanks," because they ignore obvious body language. Shower show at Wet Dreamz is 20 pesos for me, or $1 USD. They will come to you every 5 minutes and will drain your wallet. $500 pesos for a standard nude lap dance with touching and jerking for 10 minutes, plus the entry fee seems reasonable. That's going to be about $50 USD. If you go further and have oral, double that imo.

Lots of folks have talked about their own tipping habits in these bars in various parts of Latin America.  Each man has various levels of showing their appreciation so you’ll have to make some judgments for yourself about how to spend your money.

Comparatively, I understand that part of why many of us go to Mexico is that things are just cheaper than say Ft. Lauderdale or New York or Montreal. So, you have to run your budget numbers. I will say, my experience is that typically the guys go with the highest bidder. If I am spending money on a guy and he has another patron who is giving more money to enjoy the dancer’s gifts and talents, the dancer should go where he wants. Usually that ‘s to make more money. I have had occasions where dancer’s have said to me that they didn’t want to go with another patron because they weren’t respectful of the dancer’s boundaries. So, sometimes it’s not just about the money, it’s also about the vibe you put out and the vibe the dancer is going for. If they’re just tryna make cash, then they’re going with the highest bidder!

I will say for myself, I think someone spending 10 minutes of their time is worth more than $5 - ESPECIALLY if I am groping groping their muscles and enjoying their body. I understand that some patrons get more for less. And I’m okay with that. I usually pick the guys I want to enjoy and I spend what I need to with them to keep their interest. Sometimes that’s more; sometimes that’s less.
