Camarillo is very right-leaning politically, but my SIL who lives there has never mentioned over-eager police. Sounds like he approached the wrong individual.

I can see why one might consider the area more conservative, but voting results in Camarillo may not support that.  

Interesting observations,

I stayed at a hotel in Camarillo on Thanksgiving and joined with a friend at a nearby Blank Angus restaurant that night.  I noticed many diverse same-sex couples and groups were dining there,  Some of the staff also appeared to be "family".  We were treated well.  

The next day I ate at a restaurant near downtown Camarillo where my waiter was gay and the hostess was lesbian. 

So I came away from that trip with the opinion Camarillo is a live-and-let-live area, that there are a lot of "us" over there. 

I'm confused how Stern could plan to pay for consensual sex, yet the ad turned out to be planted by the police.   

Is that the worst case of what you guys call "taking one for the team"?   

I always have the facts before I hire, though I tend to hire for massage.  Even then, why take chances?
