Rentmen "New" Search Question

I have a question about searching on Rentmen.

One of the options is "new". Yet when I select a city and click new I do not get all the models that are new. There are two or three cities that I search generally and regularly so I am pretty certain when I see a new ad or new to that city ad. Yet, when I select the same city and search using the RM new option many of the ads that I know are new to that city do not appear. Am I doing something wrong? I am making incorrect assumptions about the new search function?

I’ll admit I didn’t even realize there was a new “New” search option on RMen. You’re absolutely right, it doesn’t work properly and doesn’t actually show the newest providers. I wish I could say I’m surprised it doesn’t work as intended, but at this point I’ve learned to expect exactly that.

I wouldn't expect a "new" filter to show "new to that city," only actually new ads.  If you think about the complexity of what you think "new" should do, it would not only have to rely on a data field like "date ad created" (which it does) but also keep track of every ad that's ever appeared in any given location and then only show ads that have never been displayed in that city in the past.
