During the playoffs last spring Knicks star guard Jalen Brunson stepped on Martha Stewart's big toe and broke it.  He fell into her lap and he felt cool, which surprised her, because she thought he'd be sweaty.

Her takeaway from this...  don't wear open toed shoes if you're sitting courtside.

I’m not sure that covered shoes would have offered much protection to an 84 year old woman’s big toe from a 190 pound guard landing on her foot.

I'm more concerned that she noticed his body temperature at a time that her toe was being crushed. 

Glad it was just one toe.  It's a good thing.
