He's had a couple websites before--all very flashy and overdone. He was a semi-regular ATKOL poster for quite a while and, frankly, seemed like a complete asshole. He left in a huff after becoming a big drama queen over a small issue--I forget exactly what it was, but it was a bit much on his part. I do recall him claiming he'd never escort, but I'd guess that his days of dancing at strip clubs have past. OTOH, he was a great, if sometimes overly theatrical, bottom in his porn performances. If you do a search at RADVideo, etc., you'll probbaly find his videography.

Just so we have a balanced view here, he NEVER seemed like an asshole to me when he was posting at ATKOL and his reason for leaving was NOT minor. I corresponded with Joey (and Talvin, who was similarly under attack) during that time. They were both very pleasant with me at all times.

 

A stalker was conducting a concerted defamation campaign posting messages much like what you just posted here, using a variety of aliases and multitudes of e-mail addresses. At one point, the stalker actually managed to hack into Talvin DeMachio's computer and swipe his address book, which led to a flood of e-mails to everyone in that book. The only way I could make them stop was to kill that e-mail address.

 

That stalker is still on the loose and flares up occasionally.

 

It was not a fun time, and it was not funny, and it won't be allowed here. (stamping foot!)

 

Joey has just recently started posting at ATKOL again and I hope we'll see him hanging around here.

I don't remember his responses to the 'stalker" as much as his other contributions which betrayed a narcissism of tremendous proportions. I'm not particularly interested in "starting something" if that's your inference (i.e., you're wanting him to feel welocme here). However, I was not alone on ATKOL in thinking he was a class A jerk. And given the other opinions and recollections here, I wanted to provide "balance" of my own.

I am from DC and I am not a pompous ass. What is ATKOL?? That has been mentioned in several messages, and I have no idea what it is/means. One of the reasons I assumed he had "moved" to DC was that when I mentioned Annapolis, he appeared not to know (no split infinitive here)where or what is was. That is like someone in LA not knowing anything about Newport Beach or Malibu.

re: DC---I used to live there and, yes, lots of Washingtonians are full of themselves, more so than many other places I have spent time (NY, SF, & LA provide competition in this score, but have mitigating circumstances like sense of humor). There are some things I miss, but not the tendency to whine or the humorless self-absorption. BTW, I suspect that DCEscort was being a bit tongue in cheek, but again DCers are often too busy being defensive to notice that.
