The cast has been announced for season 13 of AHS. Everyone is literally onboard including Jessica Lange who makes her long awaited return to the series! I'm so pumped not even knowing what it'll be about yet.

This is an impeccable cast!! However, if the story sucks, like the last few seasons, it won’t matter.

I'm hopeful it's gonna be good since they got so many to agree to come back. This is also the final season of FX's current renewal period for the series and ratings have been down so this might be it. 13 is a fitting season number to finish off on as well.

Especially Jessica Lange who I thought said was done with it. And they got Kathy Bates back, who’s busy with Matlock. And it’s season 13. A lot of good things going for it.

That AIDS/NYC season was way too sick for me, I didn't even finish it.  I'm done.

The quality of the series, as well as my interest in it, has drastically declined after Apocalypse largely because the storytelling has become super sloppy and the actors/actresses have been quite disappointing.

Now, with the return of almost all of the OG core players of the show, along with the recurring witchcraft / murder house / Antichrist themes, my hope is somewhat reignited for S13.  If anything, I wish this will be the last season and please just wrap everything up nicely and end the series with a bang.

A note regarding Ariana Grande: she is certainly an unexpected addition to the show.  Can it possibly be another witch role after G(a)linda?  Is there a typecasting trend here?

"Which is the best AHS season?" is an eternal debate.  I feel it's a matter of taste.  To me, the earlier seasons are most memorable.  My favorite is season 2 (asylum), followed closely by season 1 (murder house) and then season 8 (apocalypse).  I like the OG actors/actresses.

You have to watch them in order as some seasons reference earlier ones or are connected. But not an absolute must.

Hotel is the worst rated season on Rotten Tomatoes but I like it a lot. Probably because of Lady Gaga.
