I just got back from seeing this and totally enjoyed it.  Tom Blyth plays an undercover policeman entrapping men at a mall men's room in 1997 Syracuse.  Blyth's character, Lucas, is out to his former girlfriend but not to his family and cannot bear the thought of them finding out; Tovey's character, Andrew, is a married with children minister.  I thought it was well done.

both Blyth and Tovey are English; Blyth went to Julliard though

I didn't notice that; the role was played as a soft-spoken character and I got no hint of an accent
