Was in NY last week and one of my dancer friends (not Axel who, unfortunately, I missed not knowing he was going to be appearing), told me that two of the dancers had been arrested by plainclothes cops after picking them up at the Gaiety. This would have been, I think, Tuesday or Wednesday. Anyone have any further info or thoughts? Should we patrons be concerned or just the dancers?

also thought that dancing naked was legal in registered NYC clubs that don't serve alcohol and don't allow any sexual activity. unless the dancers got busted for other activities (sex for pay or drug-related offenses, maybe), sounds like it wouldn't have been a legal arrest.

 

wonder how reliable this info is.

Hey jizz.....well this past year I lived in NYC and the mayor's "impotence" problems were widely reported due to his prostate cancer treatments. So, even though he is out of Donna's house....he is still not getting laid....

 

I also re-read the post and they were arrested AFTER being picked up at the Gaiety....so I assumed they were arrested for prostitution....

If this is true, and I have heard nothing of it on other threads, it might be they solicited the officers! Police have been known to go to the Gaiety in the past and I am sure they would love to close the place down. Also, be aware, that police are probably monitoring sites like this one. Is there any way, we can force a police officer to reveal his/her identity?

No more than we can force you to reveal yours. :o Remember, personally identifiable information is not allowed here.

 

Outside this site, there's no way either. It's the only reason undercover sting operations (not just for escorts) work at all. Can you imagine an undercover cop being forced to reveal himself in the middle of a mob sting? It would be an invitation for a bullet to the back of the head.

Jon, "someone getting fucked", well that is the idea of hiring an escort. Frankly, I don't have a problem hiring a st8 guy as long he is upfront, honest, and delivers the goods as promised. In fact, I find having sex with a straight man to be a real turn on!!! There is more mystery to the whole exercise, but like you, none of us want to feel like we are being manipulated (unfortunate word), or taken advantage of.

Priceless...the city and the Major have enough resources to be chasing aroung after this kind of thing, but at the same time don't have it together enough to deal with their own internal problems, i.e., cops who come off duty, drink all day in a topless bar, and then proceed to run down and kill 3 people on the way to work. Somethings very wrong with this picture.

The dancer was Mikhail Torres and his lover Chad from what I understand. Supposedly the cop was wired and ready for action.

 

Not really wild about this particular dancer but nevertheless sorry to hear about his incident. He has appeared in nude in Torso and in ads for SPLASH here in NYC......

The two dancers/escorts were not arrested at the Gaiety or as a result of meeting anyone at the Gaiety. They were advertising in HX or Next and the police called their number and arrested them based on what they said on the phone and followed through with in person. This has nothing to do with the Gaiety other than the fact that the two French Canadians have danced there in the past and I believe that one was on the bill the week the arrest took place.
