+ Gar1eth Posted September 26 Posted September 26 (edited) This was discussed in the past. It's time to revisit the subject. Scenario: Someone texts you or you text someone on Scruff, Growlr, Silver Daddys, Grindr, or etc. You talk about meeting. Since it can be hard to make plans, you exchange phone numbers. Do you then try to search his phone number to see if you can find out anything on him? My vote is you need to protect yourself -so yes. Edited September 26 by Gar1eth
+ PhileasFogg Posted September 26 Posted September 26 I search every number on MrNumber and the internet. Rarely get a hit, but when I do, I know it’s likely real. + Gar1eth 1

+ Gar1eth Posted September 27 Author Posted September 27 I shouldn't have gone to the trouble to look him up. We texted off and on for several hours yesterday. He wanted me to come over last night. But I had just eaten a big pasta meal and was bloated. He said yesterday he might be free after 1 PM today to meet. I told him I'd be up at 10 AM. I text him at 10 to say good morning. I hear nothing back. I text again at around 5 pm and 7:30 pm. And still nothing. This is ridiculous. He's the one who contacted me 1st. All he had to say-whether it was truth or a lie that work got too busy. Instead he's ghosted. Aside from being gay or bisexual, I wonder if he was unreliable to his former wife. Too bad I can't pick her brain. It's just upsetting as not that many people are interested in me. And he said he was. And I could have gone for him. Plus in our first talks -he even said it would be nice to make a friend even if we weren't compatible for more intimate things. ☹️☹️☹️ Whoisyourdaddy 1
+ Gar1eth Posted September 27 Author Posted September 27 Well I know I shouldn't. But later today I'm going to text the ghoster from an alternate phone number of mine (in case he's blocked my original number). I'm not going to curse. I'm just going to say he Is obviously not as much of a stand-up guy as I thought after ghosting me.
+ Gar1eth Posted September 27 Author Posted September 27 (edited) Well after not answering all yesterday and not answering to a few texts today-before I had chance to rant at him-he just texted and said he had Covid. So if true, not an &hole after all, and if a lie, he finally figured out how to get me to stop texting-although he could have just blocked me. Edited September 28 by Gar1eth
Vulgarii Posted September 30 Posted September 30 (edited) I investigate everyone once I have their name or phone number, but tend to not like them after seeing unflattering pictures on social media, their friends, or their liberal socio-political interests. 🤷♂️ Ironically after gaining a reputation across various platforms for being an intimidating troll and doxxer, I learned that my relatives have their own P.I. business. I became further well known for exposing spiritual scammers and I brought down various accounts by YouTube witches. The most memorable was dismantling a real demonic cult led by single mothers in Texas. The leader seriously claimed to be the incarnation of Eve and a princess of Hell. Over 2000 people were in it. A few died. The FBI had to get involved. I had a blast. As an occultist myself though, my colleagues and I suffered greatly with the spiritual warfare that went on. Perhaps I'll write a book on the whole 7 year long fiasco one day. Edited September 30 by Vulgarii
