charmasianman Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Happy Saturday! A few days ago I wrote a post about working as a provider. I decided to go with Rentmasseur.com and try providing some service through that website . Not rentmen.com I did some research and It looks like going rate for escort is like 300 dollars per hour and it is 200 dollars per hour for sensual massage in the SF Bay area. Because I am new in this territory and interested in building clientele first, I am thinking of starting like 200 dollar/hr for escort and 120 dollars/hr for sensual massage for those who hire me for the first time for the first few months. Do you think it is an okay marketing strategy ? I am conflicted because some might think I am not good looking enough or fit enough because the rate is relatively low.. which isnt true. I get hit on by random guys in public transportation or street quite often. And I am confident about my looks. What do you think of my strategy? You can always send me a private massage if needed. I am also interested in visiting LA, Seattle, Miami, NYC etc if there are people interested..
Whippoorwill Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Rate-setting is not a business plan; it is just one component of a business plan. You need to be clear to yourself what are your goals and objectives, time frame, limitations, etc. Is this a quick money idea, or a long term strategy? Are you truly service oriented, dedicated to pleasing others? What services are you selling, how are you planning on marketing them? What is your comparative quality and appearance? What is the venue and location? Is this rate an introductory offer (is this a first appointment rate, a 2025 rate, etc) or what? What sets you apart from the competition, etc, etc, etc? I encourage you to think deeply about this profession, be honest with yourself about your goals, advantages, and abilities, and make a decision that will work both for you and for prospective clients. If you decide it’s a “go”, I will welcome you into what can be a rewarding profession for provider and client alike. spidir, nate_sf and + claym 2 1
Whippoorwill Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Oh and I forgot to mention perhaps the most important thing…are you a skilled trained masseur? Or a hot courtesan? There is a market for either or both. Just be clear in your marketing.
