I've used escort services before and I usually tip if the service meets or exceeds my expectation. I'm just curious about what others do. Do clients tip differently if it is an one-hour, overnight or weekend appointment? Is there a recommended rate? Love to hear from both escorts and their clients. Thank you guys! :-)

Well, deej, I guess I'm just not as familiar with this site as you. I just started reading the messages here yesterday and didn't have the time to read through all of them. Thanks for your instruction but I guess I can do without your attitude.

If you find this topic to be too redundant, why don't you just ignore it. Please give newcomers like myself a break if we haven't been well-versed in all the topics that have been discussed here.

RE: bigTip?

Well, if he is new he might not know how many zillions of times this subject has come up. He might not know how to use the search function. And besides, this topic always gives several posters a reason to point out how much money they have.

Personally, I think a tip of less than double the escort's rate is just being cheap!

RE: bigTip?

I'm wondering why the people who responded to my question so far seem to be so negative and sarcastic in their comments. Is it so hard to imagine that I'm totally new to this message board and that I wasn't aware the topic has been discussed before? Did I mention in my previous postings that I'm a BIG TIPPER so that I could show off? Do I really need to know and care about what the intentions of other posters were before I asked my question? Once again, if you find the topic to be too redundant, would you please just skip it and go to the next topic. Yes, I have seen escorts in the past but I'm still relatively new to the scene. What's wrong for someone who's new to this message centre to ask such questions (and yes, even those who have been discussed before) and expect some honest discussion/answers without being put down? Please don't tell me this message board is only for those who are "frequent" visitors!

RE: bigTip?

JT,

Sorry for the hostile welcome. It's just that this has been discussed at least a half dozen times in as many months. While opinions differ, here's a brief synopsis of where the discussion usually leads.

1) It's usually appropriate to tip an escort who's working with an agency because the agency takes part (25-30%) of the fee.

2) Most clients feel it's unnecessary to tip an independent escort who is free to set his own rates and gets all of the fee. However, there are some clients who tip if the experience has been particularly good or they want to see the escort again. The tip may help the client get some preference when booking the next date.

3) Independent escorts say they never expect a tip but are always grateful when one is offered.

JT: welcome to the male4male escort review. sorry for your poor reception we've had several nasty invaders over the past several weeks so our welcome mat has been turned over.

in all seriousness, it's easy to do a search on this site and you will find many interesting comments re. escort rates and tips. go up top, obviously, and hit search. you want to search all forums and you will probably have the default time paramenters of "all." it only takes a few moments.

interestingly enough, there is a current thread in which kamikaze suggests escorts receive a tip of 30%. unless you found someone on the street for $50 or so, i think this is a little excessive.

i tip for service only, feel no obligation to tip but always propose a rate that encourages papi to deliver.

good luck in your search.

Hi Losgatan and Jizz,

Thank you guys. I did go through some of the previous discussion on this topic last night. Many of them are interesting and informative. I'm glad that I found this site. :) Thanks again, guys!

JT, welcome aboard. You are going to find some very disrespectful, arrogant, annoying, obnoxious posters on this message board along with some of the nicest, informative, imaginative, helpful guys in the world. Stick around and you will learn who is who and the ones to stay clear of. If your feathers are easy to ruffle, it may not be a place you'll care for very much. Once again, welcome aboard and I hope you have the learning experience you seek and that you also become one of the positive forces here. :)

I'm sorry you decided to read "attitude" into my post. I was simply aiming to be informative and to let a new poster know that this subject has been often discussed.

I don't remember calling you names. I recognized a name of a new poster and provided information.

I won't be making THAT mistake again. :-)

Well, deej, I'm afraid that it's not me who decided to read "attitude" into your post. In your original reply, you said, "Why not use the search link (up at the top of your

screen) to see what's been said (and said, and said,

and said) before?". As I wrote in my previous reply, I "thank you" :) for the instruction. However, the last part of your reply (i.e. the part in parenthesis) implies that you can't stand me asking my question --- an indication of impatience on your part.

You could easily have said, "Go to the search link, type in the word Tip and you would find the information you're looking for", right? But you chose to express yourself in such a way that you expect newcomers to read all the postings before they ask a question. To me, that is "attitude". Of course, one can always agree to disagree whether this is an attitude or not.

But I do thank you for giving me the information and an introductory lesson to the diversity of posters/responses that I can expect on this site. :) I'm sure I'll learn more as I continue to visit here.

RE: bigTip?

Hi LG, is there anything you could recommend for me to put on to soothe my feather? :) And sdmuscl4hire, what could I use to thicken my skin? :) Seriously, when I start to think about it, maybe we all need to become "BIG BIRD" in order to surive here! Thank you for the welcome mat guys, you're so sweet! :)

JT (has no intention to imply in any way, shape, or form that BIG BIRD is gay and that he has ever visited this site!)

Nice posting, JT. It looks like you have the kind of sense of humor it takes to survive around here.

Welcome.

Geez, I don't know, JT. I think you maybe you were awfully quick to judge Deej's post as attitude. I didn't read it that way at all.

When I join a new forum, I'm pretty tentative at first, learning how that particular place works.

Deej is one of the good guys -- I think you over-reacted here.

And I also join the chorus in welcoming you to this place.

Point well taken, BG. As I said before, we can always agree to disagree on whether Deej's original message came with an "attitude".

>When I join a new forum,

Thanks for sharing your experience with me. I'm sure there're much for me to learn from you guys. :)

>Deej is one of the good

Of course, you're entitled to your conclusion that I have over-reacted here. I think a point of clarification is needed, though. I have never said that Deej is not "one of the good guys" here. A good guy, however, could still make mistakes. It doesn't change the fact that the person is still a good guy. But should the person who happens to point out that mistake be considered "over-reactive"?

>And I also join the chorus

>in welcoming you to this

>place.

Thanks again, BG. You guys are so warm and sweet that you're making me blushed. Finally, I'd like to ask you to give me the same consideration as you've so kindly offered Deej, that is, give me more time and then judge me and my posts in an honest fashion. :) Thank you!
