Ali Gator Posted July 19 Posted July 19 A rather recent photo of actor / singer / 80s heart-throb Rick Springfield (who still performs in concert these days). Springfield turns 76 at the end of August. Damn, I'd still do him ! Guy is incredibly sexy (though with the help of hair dye and it looks like plastic surgery on his face). samhexum Posted July 19 Posted July 19 (edited) Rick Springfield Calls Out ‘Today Show' Co-Host For Yawning During Interview: ‘Am I Boring You?' The singer was promoting his upcoming I Want My 80s tour with John Waite, Wang Chung, Paul Young and John Cafferty. Saw him in concert at the Brendan Byrne arena at the Meadowlands in NJ and at the Syracuse War Memorial, where the opening act was Harry Chapin's brother Tom. I found him attractive, but it was just about his albums for me... his singles were fine but I loved the other songs on his albums. Spent about an hour jumping around on youtube about a week ago, as a matter of fact. My sister had his first album, with songs about fun subjects like infidelity, lost love, God, and suicide. Just another teen heartthrob... 38 minutes ago, Ali Gator said: Springfield turns 76 at the end of August. Damn, I'd still do him ! Ali Gator Posted July 19 Author Posted July 19 If anyone is looking for a good summer book this year, I highly recommend his 2010 memoir. I was never a big Springfield fan (I enjoyed his music appearances on TV and liked some of his music on the radio), but I picked this book up at the library 15 years ago and couldn't put it down. He gives a good balance of 'spilling the dirt', with raw honesty mixed with sadness and humor. Throughout his life, he has his dog companions by his side and by the time you close the book you'll truly understand 'man's best friend is his dog'. marylander1940 and DaveOrDavid 2
+ PhileasFogg Posted July 20 Posted July 20 I frankly think any of us could be reasonably close to that look if we tried. My age will be reflected in my thinning hair and crows feet (I’m not getting surgery), but my body can be as lean and toned as I allow it to be. Good for Rick for showing us what’s possible.
caliguy Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Having a 10 starting point, obscene Wealth, and lots of time to pamper yourself......for the rest your mileage may vary. Still it's good to see someone 4 years away from 80 looking like that. samhexum 1
