samhexum Posted July 16 Author Posted July 16 I sent them a gravy boat from Home Goods (as well as a lovely card, of course), so make sure you don't get them the same thing. thomas and pubic_assistance 2
+ purplekow Posted July 17 Posted July 17 I saw Tim Daly in a production of Fifth of July in Providence Rhode Island about 1981. He was unbelievably good looking at that time. So much so, that I waited for him to leave the theater to get a better look. He was very good in the lead role. I was subsequently a big fan of Wings, though he has lost some of his youthful lust(re) appeal. Tea Leoni was very good in Madame Secretary on TV among many other credits. Of course Tea and Tim played a married couple in that show.

Ali Gator Posted July 17 Posted July 17 When I owned my store in RI, Daly and his wife Amy (at the time) lived nearby and came in often. They were nice enough, though he was a bit aloof. He was in his 'Wings' series at the time, and stunningly good looking. On one occasion, around Christmas, his sister Tyne came in to buy gifts for them (I pointed out what they frequently bought in my store). She was very nice, very pleasant, and was appreciative when I told her I had seen her in 'Gypsy' in 1991, and never saw anything else on B'way that moved me the way she did playing 'Mama Rose'.
