Overcompensating on Prime Video

Anyone watching this new show?  I don't know whether to be shocked, be repulsed or to laugh.  Perhaps a bit of all three.  Some good full frontal male nudity in E3... that'll get some members' attention!  Even had a James Van Der Beek cameo.

IMO, there are some clever scenes and a lot of cringe.

The only character I care about is George.  That can be a deal breaker for me.  I need to care about more than one character.

 

What is Miles's deal?  Is he bisexual?   I think he may be bisexual in a plot twist.

 

If Benny wasn't such a closeted drama queen, maybe he could have had a connection with Miles.

 

Also, Benny's roommate is a big question mark for me.  He might play a bigger part if there is Season 2.

If you can get past a bunch of 30 something's playing college kids, it's an enjoyable watch. I don't remember seeing anything shocking or repulsive. I think it's worth watching just for Holmes' performance as Carmen's roommate Hailee. She's funny,

Haha, I was going to write the same thing this morning after watching a few episodes last night. Similar to Netflix’s “Elite” casting,

But the show is fun to watch. I am a bit impressed that Benito Skinner created, produces, and stars in the show.

Agree with @MikeBiDude this is a fun show to watch, entertaining.  Looking forward to what Season 2 brings.

The guy who plays George is also in Hulu’s “Adults.”

I guess I’m to old, but the Adults E2 scene where there are 4-5 people in the bathroom while a girl is trying to take a dump and one of the guys wants to pee between her legs but ends up peeing in the shower was just to much.  Especially after she shows everyone blood from her ass.

I agree 100% - this was awful. There are no likeable characters in this show, and nothing I can relate to. We don't need a show to tell us how immature and irresponsible Gen Z is - we live it every day. I'm done with the series, and took it off my DVR. (I recorded it on FX).
