A decade later, Mo'Nique is still at war with Tyler Perry

At R&B singer Angie Stone's recent funeral, multi-millionaire film producer Tyler Perry spoke about the injustices towards Stone via the music industry, and how (he believes)  she never got the money nor respect from the music business she very well deserved. That grew the ire of Oscar winning actress Mo'Nique, who has been at 'war' with both Perry and Oprah Winfrey (distributors of her 2016 film 'Precious', for which she won the Oscar) for nearly a decade.  She penned an 'open letter' to Perry (just days after Stone's funeral) about the 'injustice and monetary loss' she has suffered in Hollywood all because of Perry, just to bring all the attention back to her. The woman just won't let it rest. (Perry, for his part, has since ignored her).

Too bad such an amazing movie as Precious turned sour for Monique.  Sounds like Whoopi could have offered her some reasonable advice.   

I love Wanda Sykes and Tig Nataro.  It does seem unfair how little they get paid for appearing on the streaming platforms.  Perhaps the Monique-Netflix publicity will help bring some equity.
