samhexum Posted March 26 Posted March 26 (edited) Bobby Sherman has stage 4 cancer. His wife announced on Facebook he would no longer be doing conventions or Cameos. He's 81. Edited March 26 by samhexum because he needed a moment to process his emotions.

Then after that episode, he decided to leave showbiz and he became a paramedic in real life. He went on to become a paramedic trainer for the LA County Police Academy and then became a deputy sheriff. He retired in 2017 and started doing nostalgia shows and conventions. Ali Gator Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Back in the 1960s, he was in a relationship with actor Sal Mineo (who helped him get his big break on the 1968 TV show 'Here Comes The Brides'). Apparently it was one of the 'worst kept secrets' in Hollywood at the time. In the biography 'Picturing Peter Bogdanovich: My Conversations with the New Hollywood Director' , Peter Bogdanovich talked about their long-time romance when interviewed. There were also some nude photos of Sherman taken at a California beach by Mineo which were floating around for a while. not sure if they are still around. samhexum and thomas 1 1
