+ BenjaminNicholas Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Just saw a preview of this tonight. Still processing, but bottom line, go see it if you can. It's a one-woman show, but thanks to an incredible use of technology, it's truly an entire cast. Sarah Snook (Succession) is an absolute powerhouse. The whole production is just so beautifully designed and executed. https://doriangrayplay.com/ thomas, AtticusBK, + ApexNomad and 4 others 5 2
MikeThomas Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Thanks for the heads-up. Looks very interesting. Orchestra seats... $500+ 😀
AtticusBK Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I just got a center orchestra seat (via the Theatr app) for less than half of that for this Tuesday nite. Can’t wait! MikeThomas and + BenjaminNicholas 2
sulika Posted April 1 Posted April 1 This show is incredible, and if the cost of the tickets scares you try and get the rear mezzanine, those tickets are cheaper, you won’t be disappointed. + BenjaminNicholas, MikeThomas, AtticusBK and 1 other 4
foxy Posted April 6 Posted April 6 It takes a village to put on this one woman show. Sarah Snook is pretty phenomenal as she careens around the stage being chased by a camera crew who help her change wigs and costumes all at break neck speed. I was out of breath by the time it ended. I really liked it a lot. A very unique theatrical experience. For those planning on seeing it. I paid $179 for a rear center mezzanine seat. I think this is a case where being in the mezzanine above the stage is a better place to sit rather than the orchestra. The sight lines were very good. + BenjaminNicholas Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 Watching her navigate this show, expertly, makes me marvel that she does this 8x a week. They make it look so easy, so seamless. It takes a lot of work to make it look this smooth. I'm seeing it again before the run ends. I haven't had this much fun with video in a production since Network with Bryan Cranston. AtticusBK Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I just saw VANYA w Andrew Scott last night. He also plays multiple characters and is wonderful, but it doesn’t compare to the high energy level that SS maintains throughout DORIAN GRAY. She is truly amazing. + BenjaminNicholas, Rod Hagen, sulika and 1 other 4
+ ApexNomad Posted April 7 Posted April 7 This was amazing! Stunning performance. She will be remembered come Tony time. sulika 1
samhexum Posted April 7 Posted April 7 So is this the Broadway equivalent of ADOLESCENCE or is that the TV equivalent of this? Rod Hagen 1

Both are brilliantly realized and innovative and 100% hitech-dependent. And both are cornerstones in a kind of art we can't yet imagine. sulika, + BenjaminNicholas, thomas and 1 other 1 1 1 1
