Long story short;

I’m homeless. My ex stole my psych meds, my cell phone and my cherished ring. We were out plowing for his landscaping company Sunday night when he accused me of cheating and it happened so I said yes I’m sorry and he sucker punched me a couple times. Then at home he ran me over with the company plow because I stopped him in the plow cuz he had my phone and meds inside the house, which I still haven’t got. Since I got in front of the plow to flag him down and he stopped then floored it the lawyers are saying they won’t take the case. That I have to do small claims court. Police are dragging their feet and he’s still a free man not arrested. 

 I’m currently bouncing hotel to hotel and sleeping out of car when I’m low on funds at this point. I can’t go back to him he’s going to end up killing me if I keep giving him chances. I need to get my rentmen and masseurfinder back on. Car needs a new manifold and brakes and rotors. He stole my last 1,000$ via cash app when he kept and stole my phone. I had to get a new phone from another Ex to tie me over.. after that 1000$ hit it Left me with 300$ and I had a 200$ bill to pay cuz I had an appointment to get my muffler fixed. Bank doesn’t wanna help because it’s cash app a cash app tells me to contact my bank.. I don’t know who to believe. I fixed my muffler so my car would stop being so loud. I let my ads expire this month cuz he wanted a monotonous relationship only to find out he’s been on Grindr and rentmen himself this whole time..
 

I’m at rock bottom honestly, but I’m still in barber school Full-time. Trying my best to stay afloat.  If anyone could offer some assistance please let me know. I’m doing uber eats to stay afloat both for the daily hotel charge plus normal bills like insurance and cell phones. Waiting on my food stamps to get turned on (meeting with caseworker tomorrow at 9am for food stamps). If the food stamps gets approved I get my health insurance back and can get a refill of my psych meds.. if I can’t get my insurance back then I’m on the hook for about 350$ worth of life saving psych medication that I cannot afford.. my insurance lapsed earlier this month but put it on the back burner since I had some time.. well with my ex stealing my meds and such it made me scramble to find a new phone and stop him from hacking me any further.

 

 Even if I can crowd fund enough up get masseurfinder and Rentmen up I could do the rest with clients. Sort out my meds with my insurance tomorrow in a perfect world. So honestly I fucking hate asking but I’m out of ideas, couches to sleep on and growing up in foster care leaves me with no family to turn to during these times.

So in a last ditch effort I thought I’d reach out to y’all, my extended sex work family that has been there through it all, the thick and the thin with me. I’m down to my last 47$. I’m still working through the pain of getting hit by my ex lover/bosses plow. So I’m not averaging as much as I have. I got a gimp in my walk, but I’m happy to be alive and on my 2 feet. 

 

I figure even if i walk away from this with a handful of you praying for me, that’s something. Cuz shit I’ll take any kind of thoughts or prayers y'all got cuz those are free and I most certainly need them right about now.

I have so much I could say on your whole story but this jumped out. I'm not sure how Ohio works, if that's the state you claim residency in, but in NY as soon as you are unemployed you qualify for Medicaid instantly and you can sign up anytime regardless of if it's open enrollment time or not.

You shouldn't have any issues. I had to apply for it a couple times here since covid as I was unemployed long enough where my yearly income was going to be below the income limit and all you do was go on and verify you won't be making more than X for the year and you're instantly approved.

Will certainly be praying for you and this very rough situation. 

Are you able to get the police to accompany you to the house in order to retrieve the medications, your phone, and your ring?  Perhaps the caseworker can influence the police to work immediately on this?  I'm so sorry to hear you are having to deal with all of this.  Is there any emergency aid from the place you are taking barber classes?  Maybe a bursary based on need, or some kind of student loan to tide you over?  Perhaps you have already pursued those avenues, but just a thought in case you haven't.

He’s off to college. He’s 19 now and going to become a civil engineer
