Sorry to go off topic but if you're reading this then you are probably planning a trip there. This is a good time to remind of their corrupt police. Common sense escaped me on my last trip. I was walking down Revolution alone at 11 PM with expensive luggage and near the arch, police stopped me and went through my luggage. Found an empty pill bottle, swiped the inside and asked if it was cocaine. It wasn't but I didn't want to spend any more of my night in a police station. They asked for $500, and I said, let's go to the police station. They came back with $200 and we settled in $100. He just took it out of my wallet.

Just take an Uber everywhere, door to door. They are cheap, $2-4 for most places in the Centro area. Keep nothing fancy on you, keep a low profile. Have fun!!!

Sadly stuff like this happens a lot in Mexico and very much in PV.

Also (mostly in PV) a lot of guys will try to sell you drugs. I don't do anything, but a friend of mine fell for accepting a free sample. Yeah, you can totally ask for an erotic session—they call it “tantric”—and you can customize it however you’d like. For example, you can say you want a mix of decontracting and tantric. Just let them know and ask about the cost.
