In most countries, it seems like the guys who advertise on Rentmen expect US rates, rather than the market rates in their local region. Are his rates typical for Bangkok or is he asking for US rates to take advantage of "farang?"

His rate is between 3000 and 4000 thai bhat if I recall.   That equals to nothing in usd for what he will do.
