I had my first unpleasant experience with Premier today. I had made an appointment earlier in the week to see one of their escorts this afternoon. When I called this morning to confirm it, I was told brusquely that he was off this weekend--no explanation or apology. I like to see pictures of escorts before I make a decision, and on Thursday I had been told that ALL their escorts were now listed on the website, so I asked who was available in his place. The person I spoke to ran off a list of names, some of whom are NOT on the website (or in their print ads); the information about each was also given so quickly and apparently randomly that I couldn't possibly absorb it, and it sounded almost like a brushoff. When I hesitated about what to do, I was quickly told, "Sorry we couldn't help you," in a tone that reminded me of Gore's famous comment on Bush's reaction to his election night reneging on his concession.

 

By the way, they are now at their new in location; it's a house in an isolated neighborhood that is difficult to get to: if you go by taxi, be prepared for the driver to possibly get somewhat lost trying to find it. The area might look uninviting to an out of towner, but I believe it's pretty safe.

You probably spoke to Michael. He can be remarkably insensitive

if you appear unsure or don't respond quickly enough. On the other hand, some days he can be in a great mood and talk for awhile. Since Premier dominates Philly's market, he can act pretty much the way he wants. But, he is very smart and ex- ceptionally good at matching client and escort. Give Premier another chance.

I believe the name he gave me was Nathan (he had a slight British or Aussie accent). I've had good experiences with Premier in the past and will probably try them again. The new location is near Front and Callowhill.

Premier is still the best that I have found. Michael is a very nice person and will make sure that you are happy with your escort. It's also a bargin, try hiring anyone in NYC for their price, it's worth the trip down to Phila. Their new location is close to the Ben Franklin Bridge so it is easy to get to and there is lots of places to park. Don't let what happened stop you from having a good time.

Charlie has obviously caught Michael in one of his rare off moments. There are some times during the day when all three of the phones that I know of are ringing off the hook and call-waiting is beeping in on him as well, and somehow he miraculously deals well with it. Michael and Nick (and Tim, before he left for excellent reasons) have always made superhuman and successful efforts to match me with compatible escorts. The result has been a congenial association nearing three years, with only one dud (a guest escort who has not been invited back ever) in the lot. Michael, especially, knows better than I what I want sometimes, and on some occasions has steered me away from people he instinctively feels I will not enjoy. Stay with it, Charlie. I've been around and seen a lot of them--you will have to go far and wide to find an equal.
