Lycrathong Posted April 27 Share Posted April 27 I caught HSV-1 over 3 decades ago, probably through oral sex. Unpleasant initial symptoms, but soon cleared up and no recurrence. However a couple of weeks ago I noticed pain and a tingling in my right buttock and groin area, which is gradually subsiding.
