YOUNG_LA_DOM
I’m sure many of you have watched this film by now. I loved how the real love story was between the two male characters the friends long lasting even to the very end. Zan was just there to be the one to be able to bring them closer. what do you guys think?
MscleLovr
I felt it was a great, entertaining movie. It’s cliche-free, has good acting by all the leads, and I even enjoyed the quasi-70s rock music. And I’ve always liked Josh O’Connor since I first saw him in ‘God’s Own Country’. thomas

curiousbynature12
I enjoyed the character dynamics between the trio and the way each were uniquely toxic and were co-dependent on the others. I do wish we had more scenes with just Art and Patrick in the movie. I also loved the electronic soundtrack produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, they made certain scenes, especially the sauna scene and the final scene feel charged and full of tension. TonyDown
I especially love the line where Art professes his love, and how Mike Faist looks in that scene. All 3 leads had great chemistry, but Faist made me want to watch scenes again. I can only imagine if I'd seen him in Brokeback Mountain I would have melted. He really looks great as a strawberry blonde. Reminded me why I love them and red heads. ☺️ But Mike Faist showed so many layers as Art Donaldson. The scene with Zendaya’s Tashi Duncan in the bedroom when he looks so hot begging and being submissive, but is actually another example in the movie of how he uses that to manipulate Tashi because he wants her. That camera shot of his body and ass and the way he’s looking up at her with his face in her palm >>> 🥵
TonyDown
Art did a lot of manipulating in the film. All 3 characters were complex. I found this article about M.F. A good read. He talks about filming Challengers, and much more.
