At the moment, just from what I read on this thread, I might be tempted to speculate that you are this Bryan chap, yourself. You seem most distraught over this thread. And I have never noticed, that I remember, you responding to any other thread. Our anonymity here does sometimes allow for speculation on each other's identities and motivations, doesn't it? What I would suggest is that someone contact the escort and inform him that this thread is going on and that at least some of us would like to hear his side of things, should he be interested. And I also suggest that instead of continuing to allude to some unspecified unpleasantness in the past, you, Con, might want to tell us more of your side of the story, too. Asking me to accept an annonymous person's assurances that there was some sort of frackus without evening defining that frackus does strain the limits of my credulity, and I once fell for a couple of months for a con man who claimed to be a minor inheritor of the DeBeer's estate.

I do not remember seeing Bryan's pic as one of the "lads" he promotes. In fact, I definitely would have inquired about him based strictly on his convenient location.

 

The stable owner has ALWAYS been professional with me. Most importantly, he's never misrepresented an escort. I'm often amused when he almost always tells me that they might be unreliable. Are we talking about the same guy?

I am so bad at remembering names. I meant to say that I was ready to assume that Con 69 was the stable man. (That other con man took me for $1,000, but looking back, I figure I knew what was happening, just decided that that was what I needed to adjust to the first AIDS death of a close friend. Well, he only had one, but you know what I mean.)

I have since then received a posting from someone I assume to be Con, although he signed his real name (I suppose). He gave me a lot of detail and I reposted that he would have had a lot more credibility if he had made one big posting with a lot of that detail in it than the many nebulous ones he did make. Actually, I think I would also have believed what he said then faster had he posted it here rather than taking it private.

He assured me that he had only found this site around two weeks ago and had no intention of posting here again. For which many of us will have the bad grace to be thankful. Personally, I told him that some of us have abrasive personalities and that that is OK when we can get to know them from postings which are rather neutral to them as well as on subjects that turn them rabid. I hope he took the hint and we will meet him without a frothy mouth one of these days.

I spoke on the phone with Zippy and Connoisseur69. They are both about the same age, both very intelligent. Both have differing stories about Bryan.

 

I believe Connoisseur69 had his heart broken, but many of us have been there before. Zippy is indeed in New York and as I have stated before is not Bryan.

 

Finally, I spoke with Bryan last. He is charming, smart and I think very upfront with me on who the players are in this drama. The pieces fell together and I am getting closer to the culprit. I know one individual who will think that Bryan manipulated me.
