Question on statutory rape

A legal question for you lawyers out there. What is the age of consent in New York? In other words, what is the age that makes a difference between having consensual sex and committing statutory rape in New York? I stress the "New York" bit, because I'm sure it differs from State to State. I'd appreciate any information. Thank you.
