Thanks Bitchboy,

I am much relieved that you confirm your post was not an attempt to support my position.

Well for the Horniness, IT is 24/7 too now :) I never thought i could be that horny! I have quite the business but man my boy friend has to be careful because i walk with a hard on all day long :) And i could jump on him every hour lol. So you better be careful if you ever come to LA.

Todd,

I think this is what we did. Each participant made his list and posted his choices . Then the lists were concatenated into a superlist and the number of entries for each candidate was tabulated. The results were posted, those with the most entries being accorded a higher tier in the results.

See we really are in agreement :-)

A parting thought -- no one was named

"Best" anything and there were far more than 10 winners this year -- thus no one was placed on too high a pedastal and the accolades were shared by a greater number of escorts than last year.

On this positive note, it seems that most everything has been said on this topic, if not yet by everyone. Maybe it is time (or long past it) to move on.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-25-01 AT 11:54PM (EST)[p]OK, I'm going to be naughty and click a dead horse. I'm gone for two weeks and I come back to a wonderfully entertaining cat fight. Thanks to all. It's one of the things that makes reading this bulletin board entertaining for those of us who do have a life.

I feel very strongly about this subject since around a decade ago I was a theater reviewer on a weekly newspaper and tried to start a reviewer's circle awards to help encourage local theater. Well, the big important daily paper reviewers wouldn't go along with it. They didn't think that it would be healthy to put the theaters into competition with each other. Friends, the American public loves competition. That is one reason why today sports are so much more important than theater here in Houston. I'm not saying that Broadway wouldn't be Broadway without the Tony awards, but they certainly help make those of us who live in the rest of the country want to go there for the shows.

Bankability? Yes, it really is largely about that. Have you ever noticed that the major party shops in town will be close to each other? We have two huge ones in Houston, and they are across the street from each other. Why would they want to be so close to each other? Because it's good for both of their businesses. There are many more little centers of restaurant activity, but if you find a good restaurant that is not clustered with other good restaurants, often of the same style food, you can be sure that it is not doing the business that it could be. What's good for one theater is good for all of them because it encourages the audiences to grow in size. And if you can't get a ticket to the hit of the season, or if you saw it last week, you are much more likely to go to another show you might not have even thought about if it weren't in competition with a winner. (And it helps to fight those horrid "just a whore" people! Gives everyone a little more class, if only by association.)

I personally didn't vote. That wasn't because I don't support this vote. It was because I hadn't hired enough escorts last year to make a reasonable, rational vote based on experience. And I find anymore that, much as I would like to be, I'm really not unique (except for the way all of my non unique parts fit together). So I left it up to the experts. If someone does actually start a vote on who I would most like to bed because of what I've read in any part of this site, I certainly will vote on that!

No, Bilbo,I didn't think it a cat fight -- really... just a friendly, if energetic, discussion of the subject. I sort of enjoyed the exchange and there were no hard feelings (I hope). The energy just undescores the passion with which the views are held.

And you'll have to fill out your dance card a little more so you can vote next time. :-)
