hiring subs vs Doms

Just musing on a topic here, curious if anyone else has observed the same phenomenon escorting in the fetish world...

The Dom who hires is becoming more and more of a unicorn.  True or false?

Some of my most successful early escort outings have been as a submissive in a fetish scene.  Now it seems like the only people in the fetish world who are hiring are subs who want to be used and abused.  Maybe it's just my own sub tendencies begging for some attention.  (If forced to identify, I'd have to say vers-bottom/sub-switch.)  But it does actually seem to be a change in the fetish sex work landscape.

Am I imagining this?  Anyone have thoughts?

I'm a not limit total dom, hiring is impossible since "not limit subs" are unicorns on rentmen; less than 5% of escorts are bottom only. Every guy that interests me won't btm, or bb, or kiss, or rim... There's always something.

So if I ever read a description like "Here to please and serve. Will do everything you want, be anything you want me to be" we're in business.

I guess you're right, if you're subbing for pay, you're still a human with some kind of boundary.

As a fetish sub, I definitely operate in the spirit of "anything you want me to be," but - as with any kind of fetish play - the reality is that it still requires some actual conversation before a first meeting.  Like any sub, my recon profile includes a boundary or two.
