I met with this young man earlier today -

"To save time, I ask that when messaging you introduce yourself by sending your stats...."

Is this a polite way of saying, "Only hot guys need to apply? Otherwise, don't waste your time?"

I read "To save time, I ask that when messaging you introduce yourself by sending your stats and what it is that you are looking for." as a request for a real message to limit time wasters and not a message that's simply "Hey".

I certainly would not have made the cut if it was hot guys only.  I am in decent shape for 60 but not what this young man would consider hot.

It could be that he is trying to avoid really overweight guys but I don't know for sure.  There's also a couple of ongoing discussions on that topic (that have gone on way too long ).

He could do that easily by writing, "To save time, I ask that when messaging you introduce yourself and tell me what it is you are looking for". That would limit time wasters without asking for stats.

It is an odd request for a provider to ask.  Hopefully it's not code for: "Pasty-faced redheaded clowns with bulbous noses and size 22 shoes need not apply." 
Words like that in an ad can be quite hurtful.

1. many guys won't even read it
2. many guys would lie about their stats including whether they are HWP, etc.
3. sounds like he's not into ALL kind of men and specially those who are more likely to hire.

Bishop didn't seem like he was trying to exclude anyone, more like knowing what to expect.  Who knows the motivation.  I had fun though.
