I never took to newTumblr after the demise of tumblr....tried, but login or searching or something just didn't bite me......

for pictures only (not video), I look in at lpsg (Large Penis Support Group - many, many threads to discover - free and anonymous registration), the Gallery here in this forum, and wherever link-clicking safely takes me.......

All platforms work in different ways, you have to learn how to use them.

On Twitter you build a list of "follows" that have the content you seek.  Practically all porn/Fans creators have active twitter accounts.  You follow those that interest you, and they in turn will tend to re-tweet related content from other users/collaborators, whom you can also follow.  I follow thousands because that's how I roll.

I have no idea what you like, but you might start with  @jockedupgeek   @mikegaite   @joelsomeone1   @PizzaOtter726   @kingdwarfnyc

On Reddit, you join communities or "subreddits" which are interest groups, that are named with "r/" in front.  This is somewhat like joining groups on tumblr.  You can search for key words to find groups of interest, there are some astoundingly niche groups.  Some general ones you might try are   r/Beardsandboners   r/TotallyStraight   r/MaleArmpits  r/GayPorn_NSFW

You must of course register with the platforms for any of the above to work.  Note that both platforms allow multiple accounts by a single user, so you can sort your interests as you wish by creating different IDs.  I have a porn Twitter and and separate SFW Twitter, ditto for Reddit.

Thank you @robear for this very helpful reply!

It looks like Tumblr is allowing nudity again. Evidently they started allowing it back in November. I just recreated an account, and it took me VERY little time to start seeing NSFW content again. They seem to still be sensoring tags, so a search for "cum shot" or "big dick" only yields a statement that such a term might produce mature content, but there are quite a few blogs with untagged adult content. Given the ban has been lifted for less than a year after a 4 year ban, there's not quite as much as there could be, but it's there.

Yes I noticed that too.  I used to follow hundreds of tumblrs, most are long defunct, but some of my old follows still come up with last posts in 2019.  Interesting that that content, though verboten for 4 years, is still intact.  Thing is, we've learned that social media platforms have a life-cycle that's often quite short.  (MySpace anyone?)  New entries in the field push out the old ones constantly.  Various corporate handoffs, and finally Verizon's censorship of content was the nail in tumblr's coffin.  The user base has moved on and not coming back, and that IS the product.

I have to think the case study of tumblr was pored over when OF announced a few years ago that it was banning erotic content to much hubbub.  (It never happened.)

I've just discovered this site when I did a query for "newtumbl demise"

I had three blogs; ParkBenchCruising (15K), GayVarietyShow (7K) and my newest, LovelessMotel (2K)

On blogger.com, I've reinvented Loveless Motel, a blog that uses vintage gay porn to tell the tale of a fictitious gay resort - it's a whole different feel, with limited templates, and I'm not entirely happy with the traffic - I'm using twitter to post stuff to drive traffic to blogger.

Here are my current links:

LOVELESSMOTELPARODY.BLOGSPOT.COM

Loveless Motel Parody Blog is a humorous collection of 20th century vintage gay men porn pictures describing people & events at a fictional gay resort
