Remingtons Toronto

Check out their website and comments under Toronto Strip club In the Deli. Website is http://WWW.remingtons.com

Yeah Beau Hopkins is HOT,when hes there he usually works the early shift.

I usually take them for a table dance in the back room on the 2nd floor. dont worry too much about protocol they will drag you that far. After that if I like what I saw and felt I just ask themif they do privates. They almost all do and you should already have a fairly good idea of their flexibility. I would certainly ask though about what they will do. They may be reluctant to say too much especially if they dont know you. What they are doing is fairly illegal. Even in very open Toronto. The private rate should be 200. They will go to your Hotel if its not tofar. If they have to leave mid shift they have to pay the house. The going rate for the backroom is 10 a song although the greedy ones want 20 if you want to touch anything important. Supposedly touching is all thats allowed but I can tell you more than casual touching does happen. If the boy has been good (OR BAD) to yor liking I would give him an extra 10, or US dollars.

There really are some great boys there. Something for everyone. There are over a hundred guys who work ther but on different days and shifts so you pays your money(on weekends and after 9) and takes your chances.

HAVE FUN.

Dont miss Swiss Chalet rotisserie chicken across the street

Remingtons is a very easy place to have fun - it's also possible to spend a *lot* of money there so it's a good idea to make up your mind exactly how much you are willing to spend, and only take that much money with you.

The best way to get an idea how the place works is just to sit and watch the action for a while. There are two bars - one upstairs, one downstairs, each with a stage where the guys strip. (Early evening only downstairs is open - upstairs opens at about 9pm). Tipping guys during their show is a good way to get their attention, but all of the guys who aren't on stage are continually walking round the bar trying to find someone interested in taking them upstairs for a table dance.

Table dances are $10 Canadian per song or $20 if you want to touch the performer - for all practical purposes this means that table dances are $20 ;-)

Avoid any guys who are excessively pushy or who ask you if you want a private show within the first 10 seconds ...

Be polite - treat the guys like real people - that's what they are - nobody down there will be offended if you ask them if they do private shows - almost all do, there are a few that don't.

There are a couple of guys that you should be *very* careful with - Darren (big, extremely muscular and defined, younger brother of "Kirk"), Colt and Jax - private shows with these guys are strictly "at your own risk" - they have a reputation for relieving people of wallets, credit cards and watches ...

That having been said, most of the guys are perfectly OK, and Remingtons itself is extremely civilised an safe.

You mentioned that you liked the look of Beau - I assume this is Beau from VideoSecrets (not Beau Hopkins, who is a Can-Am wrestling model that I have never seen down at Remingtons). Anyway, assuming it's the one I think it is, he has an ad on escorts4you, so I think that it's safe to assume that he does escort ;-)

Check out:

http://www.escorts4you.com/themen/CAN/beau.html

for details. I've met him a couple of times - he's European - not sure where exactly - probably Hungary or Czech Republic - seems like a nice guy.

Other recommendations:

Caden and Brody (both of whom you can see on the Remingtons web site), and Evan - cute young blond who has only been there for a few weeks.

If you want to arrange a private show with one of the dancers it's often better to have them come over to your hotel the following afternoon - most of them don't really like leaving the club during their shift (unless you look like a *real* sugar daddy) and they are pretty tired by 2am - and so will you be ...

RE: Remingtons Toronto

Assmaster, you seem to know about escorts all over the world: Paris, Toronto, Boston, England. What an exciting life you must have and are leading. How do you get to all these places and do you see escorts every day? How many different ones have you seen over the years. And who is your all time favorite.

Just adding my 2 cents. I generally agree with the above poster in his comments on Remington's dancers. Except what he mentioned about “having to” pay 20 dollars a tune to touch dancers, that is. Being a kind of a Remington's veteran (I live in downtown Toronto and go there twice a month, on average), I never paid more than 10 dollars a dance (tip is optional, if rare) and I dance A LOT. The whole idea of charging 20 dollars/dance is a figment of the dancers' imagination, especially when they are dealing with a novice customer or a tourist from outside Toronto (especially US tourists). The excuse the dancers give (if argued) is the sign in Remington's that indicates that touching dancers is forbidden (yeah, right!) Well, even that excuse is no longer valid since the Supreme court of Canada recently ruled in favor of a female strip joint that was sued for allowing customers to touch/perform oral sex on dancers. The court cited the fact that these activities were done in the privacy of the back-rooms (which had doors) and, hence, away from the public eye as grounds for the verdict not to convict the strip joint of the "common bawdy house" charge. In short, it's now "legal" to touch dancers (Remington's is even installing doors on the private booths to ensure that, I hear).

Bottom line, always discuss the price with the dancer before the dance as well as what the dancer is willing to accept for that price and, unless you really like the dancer and wouldn't mind paying him double, insist on paying only 10 dollars/dance (with touching !) Believe me, when the dancer finds he'll lose a customer, he'll accept. Just show that you're firm about it (and don't drool too much!)

Finally, have fun in Remington's which is one of the best -if not the best- male strip joint in the world. I should know, I've been around...

Thanks for adding the one *really* important piece of advice which I forgot - *always* agree in advance how much you are going to pay!

I also couldn't agree more with your assessment of Remingtons - it is simply one of the *very* best places of it's kind *anywhere*.

That having been said, I still don't feel that $20 is unreasonable ... I, too, am something of a Remington's "veteran" having first gone there within a week of when it opened, and going back at least 5 or 6 times a year since.

This is one of the places where I suspect that the "tourist" viewpoint (and I am definitely still a tourist, even if I do visit quite often) tends to be a little different from that of the regular customer. If I am in town for the weekend and want to have fun, I try and be very selective about the dancers that I pick, and only go for the ones that I *really* like - and those ones are easily worth $20 a song. I have also found that, if you are a fairly infrequent visitor, being a little more generous can pay big dividends next time you come to town - it certainly has for me on a number of occasions ;-)

Hey guys!

I agree with both of you. BUT (or should I say BUTT?)

For the sake of all of us who go there all the time and eventually spend a ton of money Please try to make them stick to the 10 bucks a song routine. If they all find out they can get away with it they will. Those greedy bad boys. I for one will have to spank a few.

What I do when they have been very bad (or good as the case may be) is give them a tip. That way they dont expect it and they do remember you for your generosity. I hope. As I often have US cash I will use that as a tip.( an extra 40%)

It really does bug me though when they ASK for 20 bucks a song when most of the boys only get 10. Often its the ones who dont work there that much who have delusions of grandeur. And often its the ones who dont do much anyway who THINK they deserve it.

At any rate I sure do love that place. Sure wish there were more of them around the world.

An interesting topic would be BAD BOYS and WHERE to FIND THEM.

Stripper bars are my favorite pasttime.

Montreal has a few,Windsor,NYC etc. The gay guides are usually out of date and dont list the bars accurately enough.

Anybody got the lowdown (pun intended) on more bars or places like the Gaiety?

Thanks you guys for the Remington's advice. My trip last month got canceled due to bad weather, so I've rescheduled for 2 weeks from now. Hopefully it'll be relatively warmer then anyway. I only ever had one guy try and charge me extra for a dance, but I didn't let him get away with it. I figure $10 for 3 minutes or so is a pretty good deal for both of us.

I've only approached a couple of guys there to do the escort thing. One told me, quite politely, that he didn't do escort work. "Calvin", agreed to meet me at my hotel and I gave him my # at the hotel. Unfortunately he didn't call when he was supposed to and I was out when he did finally try to get a hold of me. It was a shame he didn't follow up right, because he was totally gorgeous. But anyway...I'm hoping that things will work out a little better this time around.

I am almost intrigued enough to eat at the Swiss Chalet. :-)

Remington's is alot of fun. have any of you had any private shows with tommy or martin?

martin wanted to do a private show but he

seemed like he might be too agressive. do

the guys at remington's do more than the

usual hand jobs one might expect from the gaiety

boys? Tommy seemed very young and cute but

I did not get a chance to talk to him.

Lots of the boys at Remingtons do escort but

some of the newer boys are a bit nervous about

it. The odd time they will think it sounds like

a good idea and then chicken out or by the end

of the evening they have made enough and then

they dont show up. The best bet is to drag them

out of there on the spot if you really have to

have any particular guy. They can go and come

(pun intended) but have to pay the DJ a tip so

he can work around their absence.

As far as what they will do or not; even asking

wont necessarily get a straight answer as they

sometimes saY they cant DISCUSS IT THERE. I

usually do a fair bit of exploratory work in the

back room which can be almost as good as a

"private" but just not as "wet".

Most of the guys are straight and this is a JOB.

Pretty much like at the Gaiety you'll get a good

hand job and you'll get to do some fairly

adventurous stuff with them. It really depends

on THEM and YOU . I have a few regulars but they

revolve so much and change their names so often

that it wouldnt be much help.

A lot of them do work at the Gaiety and the

Campus.

Have fun and do try the rotisserie chicken

across the street at the Swiss Chalet. Its the

ultimate decadent thing to eat after or before a

little ass.

Tommy is a nice guy - he's been working at Remingtons on and off for a long time (almost since the place opened, which is about 7 years ago now ...) so he isn't quite as young as he looks ;-)

You might be interested to know that he also did some wrestling videos for Can-Am a few years ago under the name "Aaron Aubrey" - you can find them on the Can-Am web site at http://www.can-am.com

Here are a couple of links to his pictures just to make sure we are talking about the same guy:

http://www.can-am.com/broch/xvid_prev/broch1_20/pix/aams-11.jpg

http://www.can-am.com/broch/xvid_prev/broch1_20/pix/aams-9.jpg

(by the way, don't be fooled by the 1999 copyright notice on the pictures - they must have been taken at least 4 or 5 years ago)

I have never actually had a private show with him - he really isn't my type, but a friend of mine had some fun with him down at Remingtons last July and came away pretty satisfied, I think ...

I have seen Martin around a few times but really don't know him - a lot of people seem to like him and I haven't heard anything bad about him.

I spent last weekend in Toronto and thought I'd share my feelings on my latest trips to Remingtons.

I think some one could write a sociology or behavioral psychology paper on this place and the way the boys "work". It's really sort of interesting. Friday evening was my first time there in about a year and a half. I arrived rather early (around 7 or so). The guys seem to all know pretty quickly who the "fresh meat" is. I was approached almost immediately by just about every dancer working there. Some of them were VERY aggressive about wanting to take me upstairs for a "dance". The most unfortunate thing about it was that the guys who approached were always the ones that am least interested in! It's actually very frustrating that the cute boys pass me by without even making eye contact while the tired, older guys stick to me like glue. I try to be polite in my rebuffing of them, but after a while I got a little exasperated. Some of the guys have been "dancing" there since the first time I was there 4 years ago and are starting to look pretty tired.

Anyway, I did meet "Evan" who is very cute and has an amazingly defined, lean body. I had to go a little out of my way to get together with him, but his lap dancing was fun. The guys seem to have decided, with or without management blessing I don't know, that a "table dance" is $10 (they can touch you, but you can't touch them) a song, and "lap dance" (with touching allowed) is $20. Every single guy who I went to a booth with gave me the same spiel, so I'm guessing that this is the new line. I was there to have fun, so I paid. :-) The shift change between 9 and 10 brought about a group of much better looking guys. Apparently many of them had just returned from a few weeks in Key West. I did a table dance with "Trigger" who's very handsome and had just returned from the Gay VN awards in LA. Several of the guys were in the opening number at the awards show...or so they said.

Out of all the guys there that night, Austin was my absolute fave. That boy is too fuckin' hot. Young, lean, big dick, and very sweet. I had to persue him pretty aggressively since he seemed to pretty much disappear between his sets onstage, but once I tracked him down I asked him to dance for me. It was a very hot time, he was unbuttoning my shirt and we were going at it pretty good. I asked him if he did "private appearances" and he said that he does sometimes, but only with people that he trusts. After a couple of songs I was out of cash for the night. He said he would be there the next night and we could further discuss him coming to my hotel.

Saturday night the club was very crowded and there were lots more guys working. There were lots of very good looking patrons there that night. Once again the late shift guys were hotter. Lots of muscular blond guys covered in tattoos...not what I'm into, but there were many to choose from if you are. They all pretty much looked alike to me. Unfortunately "Austin" didn't show up. I happened to be sitting near the DJ booth around 12:30AM or so when he walked in. He came out of the booth, noticed me and looked surprised to see me. He said he had some personal business to attend to and that's why he hadn't been there that night but that he'd be in on Sunday at 9. I asked if he'd like to stop by my hotel before his shift. He asked what we'd be doing. I told him what I like and he told me that it was something he doesn't usually do and that he wanted to be upfront with me about it. I appreciated that. I was very disappointed I wasn't going to get to play with him again that night, but did spend a few songs with a new boy called "Sebastian" who had only been working there for four nights. Very handsome kid, lean body. We both had lots of fun. I had to grab him on his way by me though. It's funny, I watched him walk around to several of the older guys there to see if they wanted a dance, but it didn't seem to occur to him to ask me. (I'm in my early 30's). It seems like they just assume that the younger guys are there to watch while the older guys are there for some action. I don't know why they'd assume that though, but none of the younger dancers gave me me much of a look at all, I had to approach them. Sebastian and I chatted briefly and when I asked him if he'd like to dance for me he looked surprised and said "Dude, are you kidding?" All I could think was, sweetie, you're not gonna last long in this business if you're so surprised by that. He was definitely worth the time and $$$, he got hard and stayed hard during our time together which is quite rare for the guys there. He told me that he really enjoyed it, and I'm pretty sure he meant that. Unfortunately it was closing time by that point and he wasn't working on Sunday.

Sunday night was totally dead. "Austin" didn't show up again which kinda pissed me off. There were really no great dancers there. I did go upstairs with "Edwin" who's a very handsome Latin guy with a lean defined body and a BIG dick. We spent a couple of songs together. He asked me point blank where I was staying and then flat out told me that he "does privates" too. I wasn't really tempted...he was the best looking guy there that night, but I had a feeling that a private with him wouldn't have really been that much fun...plus I was again disappointed by the no-show of Austin.

I ended up going to the Enigma "Relaxation Massage" parlour on Church St. late Sunday night. I called first to see who was there, the guy who I talked to one the phone, Rob, sounded like a very nice guy and since the hotel I was staying in was only a block or two away from the place I figured I'd check it out. They take you into a room for your "massage". I chose Rob, he's a very cute, wiry little guy. It was $55 for a 45 minute session. That fee is just for the massage, once you get into the massage room he explains what else is available for a "gratuity". He also tells you upfront that they aren't certified masseurs there and that it's just a relaxation massage. For an extra $50 cash he'll massage you to "release" but for $100 he goes nude and you can touch him too. It was an OK time. He was a cute, nice guy and it was a good way to cap off my trip.

I know that's a really long post with more info than anyone probably cares about... I hope to get back up there again some time in the near future. Air Canada has their internet weekend fares from Washington to TO pretty often, so who knows...

BTW, I stayed at the basically brand new Courtyard by Marriott at the corner of Yonge and Wood. It was fantastic and I only paid about US$65 per night including taxes! It's a couple of long blocks from Remingtons and a block from Church St and the heart of the gay village.

I think the guys on the website do dance there, at least some of them do, but they have over 100 guys there at one time or another, so they don't have photos of them all on the site. Most of the guys on the website are the bigger, more muscle-y guys who have been there for a while. I'm pretty certain that neither Austin nor Sebastian are on the site...Sebastian is too new for one thing and I think Austin has only been there for a few months and seems to try and keep a pretty low profile.

On Friday and Saturday nights they must have at least 30 or so guys there over the course of the time they're open from 3pm to 2am. I think the turnover is probably pretty quick for many of the guys who try working there and it's a small number who have been there forever and probably ought to be looking for a new line of work. :-)

Interesting that you hooked up with both Evan and Trigger. If I remember correctly, Trigger is Evan's boyfriend ... last time I saw Evan it was rather sweet the way he had to go tell his boyfriend where he was going before I took him upstairs ;-)

Edwin is also a really nice guy, although it takes a while to get to know him - he's been at Remington's for quite a long time - must be 4 years at least (but not continuously) - not only does he have a very big (and *extremely* thick) dick, it usually only takes him about 3 seconds to get it rock hard.

... and yes, quite a lot of the guys were at the GVN awards show in LA.

That's interesting. It might explain Trigger's comment about Evan's "little dick". (He asked me if I had had a "dance" with anyone else, so I told him) With a body like that though I don't care how big it is or isn't! :-)

I've been to Toronto last weekend and my experience is quite similar to yours. I ask one young good looking dancer why they are ignoring younger customers (I'm in my late twenty's). He told me that they have this perception that younger customers have no money and are holding low paying jobs (retail, MCdonalds, etc.). As soon as I told him what I do for a living (computer programming) he became extra friendly with me.

Hey, computer boy!

You wanna give me some help here?

I know some great escorts!

And I didn't just lose 11 billion like BG did on MSFT.

But I did lose, however I think it's buying time again. When it gets to 80, I'm grabbing it. I'm still on the upside. Gates is going to drag this out for years on appeal; still the world operates on Windows. And I'm an original Mac guy that crossed over to the dark side. I really like W2K. Very stable. NO crashes.

HooBoy,

I have absolutely no knowledge of computers and how they run, but I did participate in a business-related discussion this afternoon in which it was said that windows is on its way out. Within two or three years, the computer as we know it will be over and done with. We will be accessing the net from our TV's and radios, etc. I can't comment on whether these guys know what they're talking about or not, but take it for what it's worth.

I'm still trying to get my Dick Tracy wristwatch to work.

And my Rolex doesn't keep good time.

But Microsoft will always be around, just like AT&T (isn't that a monopoly again?) and Coca Cola.

Gates is a ruthless competitor and I love it that he's taking this to appeal. I wish I had the forsight to know he was going to do that and sold my MSFT $20 ago!

But, I do think that computers and TV's are going to be intergrated and my Dick Tracy wristwatch will be able to download dirty pictures of Monica Lewinsky.

It's probably sort of like vinyl records. Too many people have too much invested for the old technology to totally disappear, even when the new (like CDs) comes in.

Compare today with what SF writers 20 years ago thought it might be like. Everyone seems to undervalue social inertia when they are trying to work forward timelines.
