Although when he did have his MF ad he was charging $165 for 90 minute therapeutic and $220 or something close for 90 minute Thai massage. I thought that was quite a difference for therapeutic and Thai massage for the same duration. Thai massage is really nothing more than a stretching massage. He did a good job with the facial but then when he turned to massage it seemed to be focused on a few areas. I had told him my trouble spots and his response was “we will see if we get time to address them.” I knew it was a purely therapeutic massage and was asking for work on my neck. He really focused on my back and that was it. After that I never back for another session. It just seemed customer service was not his skill. As someone who gets facials regularly, I have observed that it is a pretty demanding service for an aesthetician. So I would not be surprised that Scott did not have much juice left in him to provide a full massage service after completing your facial. I have gone to spas where each service is being provided by a provider that is licensed and specializes in one service, and I would stack them back to back from each provider - this way neither service is cut short or sacrificed. I saw him once a few years ago at his home and the session was very good, completely therapeutic, which is all he advertised at the time, but a sense there could be other possibilities with how the draping and movements were done. I then tried to schedule him again at his new studio. He cancelled day of due to car trouble, then again the next week because he had to suddenly go out of town.
