Several people have posted that they have problems with the new Rentboy website. Those of you who advertise on Rentboy, are you getting emails from any prospective clients thru Rentboy? My experience with them is that when I try to contact an escort thru the Email link, it doesn't seem to work and have had absolutely no response from any of the escorts that I have contacted several times over the last 4 weeks. It would be interesting to know if escorts do indeed get email inquiries.. thanks for reply

I have been getting emails via rentboy most everyday but less than previously. Hopefully the escorts you are contacting are checking their Spam folders and hopefully you are checking your spam folder in case their response is ending up there.

Don't know who you've been trying to contact, but it looks like you are fairly new here. If I'm telling you something you already know please forgive me.

These guys get a lot of email. A lot of it is directed spam, by that I mean it is a message sent to them, but not a message which looks like its going to turn into an appt soon. So just a "saw your picture on...." or "Hi" or "you really look hot...." is going to end up deleted, often before it is opened. If you want to chat with somebody, go to a chat room; most of these guys won't give you the time of day if they don't already know you. Messages with a header with an inquiry about a specific city on a specific date and time will move to the top of their inbox. You shouldn't be making contact months in advance with someone you don't know unless its going to be an extended travel appt, and I wouldn't advise doing that until you met the guy anyway. This is not to say you shouldn't ask questions so you know what you'll be getting and get a feel for the guy, just that you've got to come across as a serious prospective client first.

I am assuming these are not one of the guys who specifically say call don't email; ie you have read both pages of the ad(click on the picture to go to the more detailed info)

 

If you've emailed seriously twice, and with no reply within 7 days(of the first email) the options are

1. If you really really want to meet this guy and his pics seriously push your buttons, call him-they practically all have phone numbers 2. Move on to the next guy on your list

3. Keep in mind, and I'm not saying its right, but often, if the time you are inquiring about is not available, they do ignore you. So you may want to ask about another date.

 

When I set up appointments I scan thru the Renboy pages for the city I'm going to. Pick about 4 guys I think are really hot. Email all 4 with expectations that I will hear back from only 1 or 2. If there is a choice I usually do like a phone call to get a vibe from the guy, but good appts with well reviewed escorts have been done entirely by email. I usually start the process 10 days- 2 weeks before the appt. This gives me time to do a second round if the first craps out. Once I know the guy and start doing longer travel appts we can schedule months in advance, but not to start.

Keep in mind if the guy doesn't respond you probably aren't going to have a good time with him anyway.

Since they've "upgraded" the site,I have problems every now & then logging in to my account & posting my availability...(Was VERY frequent in the beginning)..

Still receiving Emails daily....Hopefully they'll get all the "bugs" out soon!
