Platinum on men4rent

So it has been awhile since men4rent has had their platinum thing going and I was wondering if those of you who have done it for a while now have noticed any increase in business by going that route?

So far I didn´t had any better responses only because got a platinum profile. It comes too much spam from that website. I think I am not gonna renew my ad anyway. I don´t wanna waste my time. Looking for serious clients.

Lars I see you have returned. You might want to make sure your links are active. I saw your ad on Rentboy NY. That said your gaydar ad is inactive and you are still labeled retired on your reviews you may wish to update that with Daddy.

 

Greg and Lars on Platinum status as client it has made the screen viewing way too busy and really slows down the response time. Two I am so sick of all the dead ads on the site. I wish they would clear out all the dead wood. I can see keeping an ad out there for 30 to 60 days, but I know for a place like Chicago there is at least 6 pages of ads that are dead and some of those have been dead for a year. Then if you look at the ads highlighted at the front page or Platinum across the top, about every third or fourth one is an inactive ad.

 

It is very detracting to scroll through website. As a client I get more out of this website, maleescortreview and rentboy. Now totally understand men4rent is more cost effective for the escort, but PLEASE can we get rid of the dead ads!! You are just giving an opening for someone else to come in operate a better website. Maybe that would be a good thing.

Slows the response time? Do you mean the time it takes an escort to answer an email or just the time it takes to load up on your computer? If it is the loading issue maybe try dsl or cable? I've heard many times that a lot of the ads on the site are dead and it is too bad the owners don't do some kind of thing that happened here with weeding out the dead ads. Has anyone emailed the folk at the site and ask about this? Might be nice if they hear from clients along with other escorts.

I've also heard from many of client that this and the other review site are quite helpful in deciding who they are going to see. But for me Rent Boy is not an option. I've tried it for Seattle a couple different times and both times nada. Although if I ever move to Chicago or a real city (Sorry Seattle is NOT a city) I might give Rent Boy one more chance. Thanks for the feed back guys. Might hold off on that up sale on men4rent.com

I have a different experience with M4RNow. I'm quite happy with the response and the business I get from them. Furthermore, the platinum ad allows me to list myself in several cities when I travel (up to 4) and also put the exact dates in the travel section for each city.

I'm no fan of men4rentnow. Like others, I find the site clunky and think its support for advertisers leaves a lot to be desired. That being said, it is my second best lead generator (at 13% of revenue, a very distant second to rentboy).

 

I do have a platinum ad but am skeptical that it pays for itself vis a vis a standard ad. My vote is to save the extra $30 or 40 the upgrade costs (and perhaps put that toward trying a rentboy ad yet again-- it's gotta take off in Seattle sometime).

i didnt really get much use from that site or responses. like you said about location, it may be better for people that are traveling or whatever, but for my use it just was not worth it

 

rentboy has been good for me and NYC but as time goes one I get less and less contacts from rentboy and more from personal referrals

Men4rentnow works for me. It's cost effective and I get can list three travel cities plus my home town and it's easy to update your ad and can get it approved in several hours or less if not immediately. I have had very good experiences from men4rent. I HAVE had very complicated and costly, (expensive financially & time wise, experiences with rentboy... less traffic and lots of spam mail from people who want me to traffic money from african bank accounts to some american bank and promise me thousands of dollars while I move their millions. I travel a lot and so paying the full month premium for each state I travel to each month becomes a rediculous fee and the ads will show me as listing in those states for the entire month even though I was only there for several days. So when I was running multiple city ads with them and if I did get responses... more likely then not I would have to apologize and decline given I was not there in that state any longer. On men4rent you can update that info immediately and change it at any time and not have to pay extra.

I somehow can not justify spending the extra $600 or better monthly, (plus my home city ad cost), for listing in all of the cities I travel to over only paying less then $100 for an ad on Men4rentnow.com who also allows me to post in 4 cities and change my travel cities when ever I need to at no extra charge.
