I am sharing here because it touches on the events of the era, without any particular political leaning, that might break the "no politics" rule.  Primarily focusing on the man's character which allowed him to steer us through a very rough period of history. The 1970's were a rough ride with significant changes in the culture of the United States, that affect us to this day.
