This is post to clients? Ok I wake up this morning turn on my IM on AOL.. A client that I did a 3way performance for in Dallas, IM me he wanted my advice on something. My client is a really cool guy, he hired these 2 escorts one top and one bottom to perform sex in front of him.. Well he was in Dallas on rentboy hired this top to come over paid him $400, the guy said he had to go to car to get magnumsxl condoms. And I sure you guys know what happen, HE LEFT.

I was really pissed, that this happen to the client because he is such a nice guy, even when it happens to anyone its not right. I then asked my client did he check the guy out first, did he have any reviews, the escort had NO REVIEWS.. I then asked the guy well give me his name so I can look at the ad, when I checked the ad.. OMG... It was a 2 picture ad, no reviews, . THAT'S IT.. My question is "WHY GAMBLE", I feel if you want a quality experience, hire quality reputable escorts, why fish threw the pond for something "NEW" thinking your going to hit the new "BIG DEAL" (no pun included) ..

I dont feel the client was fishing for the new thing, just maybe thought this guy was who he said he was. But like they say when you roll the dice sometimes you end up with CRAPS.. Do your homework, be careful out there.

Definitely so Ricky! "Honey Then The Money" has always been my attitude.

Actually in all the time I have ever hooked up, in NYC, I think once a Guy even brought $$ up Before the Fact! And he just wanted to see, that it existed! LOL

BUT also I think due to the fact, I have always either Hooked up with a Guy from Maximum Men or a Guy Reviewed on M4M, There has never been a Problem!

Rentboy can be a Dicey Proposition for Propositions! LOL :7

yes my client asked me what could he do about it.. could he report the guy to rentboy.com . I told him rentboy or any site does not care what an escort does, as long as he paying the advertising bill. thats all that matters..

going through an agency is really cool too because usually they only employ guys that can "BRING QUALITY SERVICE TO THE CLIENT', if they dont cut it they don't use the guy.

JT your smart, thats the best way to be about it, no need to take a chance. The whole purpose of hiring is to have a good , exciting experience , if its not going to be that why bother.. lol

You are right, Ricardo. There was a time (before Hooboy) when gambling was the only option. That day is largely behind us. Sadly, many clients do not think with the right head.

This site was founded to shine a spotlight on the good escorts just as much as exposing the ripoff artists. Unfortunately, not enough clients read it -- or they think it'll be different with them.

And clients don't help each other out as much as maybe they could. There's a thread going on about Jason Adonis. At least four rotten encounters are reported yet NOT ONE of those people submitted a review. If even ONE had submitted a review, he might have saved countless others the expensive lesson.

We have a great resource, but we're sometimes not very bright about using it or contributing to it. :-(

you know you have a point there too. but there are only so many people that hire escorts that even know about the review board.. I get a lot of 'FIRST TIMERS" it so funny because when they get my information , then a link to my reviews. they think its not real.. or a marketing ploy, until after they go throught with the session with me an they realize it was not... Do they use this board as a reference to hire after finding out about the board? I would guess not because not knowing how to look up a particualar escort. Being that so many travel they would have to know their base city. I no longer based in atlanta but my reviews still there.. I guess need to have them change it..

But hey I seen bad reviews posted on a guy on this board , he a porn star, an one after another he does the same thing. I not going to call his name out, an people still hire him just to be done the same way. One guy even wrote he read some reviews about him, called him an felt maybe he give him a shot because this guy was nice to him on the phone. then low and behold he got taken too... I guess its a gamble with referencing or not referencing the review board. But I say have good communication with the escort via email or phone prior to setting appointment getting all the particulars and expectations out of the way for a good and easy session.

And you know less than 2% of the guys we see, even write reviews, some think the process is confusing or maybe they discreet dont want to have any type of trail to them for utilizing the service of a professional companion. You know when they submitt a review they ask for a telephone number.. so that could be a reason why no review is posted to report problems.

As I've said in the past, the positive reviews are fun reading (fun reliving as you write them, too), but the reviews of the not-so-hot encounters (even more, the disastrous ones such as with Jason Adonis) can provide a great deal of insight into whether or not to hire an escort.

If we reap the benefits of these escort reviews, we should also contribute to them.

In my three years of hiring escorts I have never been ripped off. I usually hire from Premiere Escorts for noname escorts and have been generally pleased. Escorts who come from an agency are far less likely to rip you off. I met a great guy from Valley Boys (he doesn't want to be reviewed). But I generally do my homework. That's how I met Ben and I am a satisfied customer.

Ricky,

Yes, it certainly makes total sense to hire well-reviewed guys. But every escort listed on this and other sites has a first review. If someone was not willing to take a gamble and then willingly write a first review how else could this site exist?

Your first review appeared here on this site just about three years ago. Someone with the handle “hotnlookingalways” willingly took a gamble on you and followed up with a review. A positive one, but now that can’t be accessed due to the archiving situation here on this site. Its obvious that you are a stellar escort based on the 36 other reviews that have followed. One could make the point that had “hotnlookingalways” not taken that gamble a few of those other reviews may not have happened.

Just recently, I took a gamble on a guy in Dallas who has no reviews on this site. I posted here asking for 411 on the escort but got very little feedback that was usable. Based on what I saw in his advertisement and our subsequent e-mails and phone call I was expecting a great experience. Unfortunately the session did not go as well as I had hoped. Consequently I have just submitted a negative review of this particular escort.

I took a gamble and it did not pay off well for me. I would have done better if I had just taken the money and bought a new pair of shoes. However, by submitting a review my gamble will pay off for someone else who may have this individual under consideration. It’s also possible that someone else will have an entirely wonderful experience with this guy. Perhaps that will be the case and my experience was a fluke. Believe me it’s 10 times harder to write a negative review than a positive one.

Based on the situation you describe it sounds to me as if the client paid the deadbeat escort in advance. He made a mistake and unfortunately learned an expensive lesson.

It’s a testament to your professionalism that you are justifiably upset about the situation for your client.

deej. So True, But I also think there are those who feel that, NOT having a Great, or even Nice time, it's easier to just forget about the whole experience. Write It Off Period.. Forget it as soon as possible!

BUT to have to Relive it, by filling out the Review Form! Going over the "STATS" of a Guy who came up ZERO isn't exactly Fun. Especially the Rate Part! HaHa

Even in my case, I wrote just One.. out of MANY Reviews.. with a LITTLE Criticism!

The Working Guy, in His Response, put HIS "Spin" on it and that was that. I'm sure he had them Sobbing.. on their keyboards! You know what P.T.Barnum said..."There's a Sucker Born Everyday"!

Absolutely! Even worse, those are arguably the most important! LOL

It's a real catch 22. It's easy to post a "Me too!" review on a guy that has dozens of glowing reviews. It's DIFFICULT to write a negative review without sounding bitter, bitchy, or accusatory. But it's worth the effort if it saves JUST ONE person from taking the same gamble you did.

The other hard part of writing a negative review is making it clear when something boiled down to chemistry, personal preference, or some other subjective thing. You don't NECESSARILY want to take business away from the guy because he might be just right for some other client.

It's a tough balance to strike. But, again, it's what makes this site valuable to all of us.

Yes, no doubt about that. And the escort's repsonse can say more about the escort than the encounter or client. Its amazing what some of these guys will write in response that just winds up confirming some of the bad impressions from the original review.

It is truly sad that things like this happen. I also believe that reviews shed light on possible rip-offs, scams and just plain poor performance, however, on another note, not all cases are like the one you posted. I have several regulars...I see consistantly, they just dont do reviews. I live in a city that has a poor reputation for guys in this business. Does having only 3 pics on M4R and no reviews make me a poor choice? Maybe it does, but I have only had one situation where a client hasnt come back for more. I am not trying to toot my own horn just point out that reviews are a tool in the decision making process and shouldnt be THE decision making process.
