If u get a mail like that plese delete it immediately. I have made already my experience with these guys. I am lucky that I didn´t lost any money but I have lost my good reputation at my bank. They sent me a check about 8000€ and asked me to cash it and send the balance later to an address in Nigeria.

I had my doubt. I told the cashier at the bank about that this was a bit strange but she just told me the check will be checked anyway.

The check was a very bad FAKE.

And the end of the story was that Citibank Germany terminated my bankaccount immediately.

 

Please if u get an tempting offer like this don´t answer and just delete the e-mails.

This is a good warning for everybody about the dangers of the internet. I am sorry that you were victimized. We have an expression "once stung is twice shy" meaning that after getting taken by some scam or bad business transaction a person is forever leery of such instances happening again.

 

I am not sure how things work in Germany but stateside in a number of instances involving financial matters like this the burden of proof is on the victim. I had my bank account checks stolen out of the mail, by a postal worker no less, and tens of thousands of dollars in bad checks were written on my account. All told it took me several affidavits and over two years to unravel the mess. To this day nearly 8 years later it crops up.

 

That was followed by a former friend, and I do mean former, who attempted to steal my identity. The irony is that soon after he got a job at Bank of America. I moved my accounts after a couple of screwy instances happened.

 

When you return home to Germany you might want to follow up with the bank and the authorities just to make sure no damage has been done to your credit ratings. Don't want to alarm you in any way but based on personal experience people need to be proactive in these situations.

As a client, I have no say in what you guys want to set up for yourself to protect yourselves angainst the jerks that are out there. I only pose the following point of view, during and after the meeting as much as the escort asks how things are going. I too ask the escort how things are going for him from me. And of course the escort is not going to be particularly critical for obvious reasons.

After the meeting I always ask is there anything I can do better. Again you can imagine the type of response I get regardless how I do. So as a client will I be allowed to see if I am written about?
