I received on my profile on gaydar the following message last week. Words fail me. Can u suggest me what to answer?

Hey stud,

 

That to me sounds like a normal everyday kind of inquiry mail. I would only consider two things as red flags:

 

The first and more obvious is the fact that he describes himself as a DOM. Looking at your ad (I swear I was not looking at your pictures and touching myself.) :9 I gather that you are a Dom too. I know that there are many DOMs out there who really get turned on by the idea of breaking down another DOM, of finally finding their way into another DOM's submission. I get that kind of requests all the time. (I know, that's kind of hot when it is consensual.)

I have never agreed to meet a DOM. Not interested. Just sounds like trouble.

 

The second red flag (but this might not be a red flag, just an obscure way for him to be at ease with the concept of hiring an escort), is the fact that he announces that he doesn't pay for sex. This might mean two things: either that he only pays for the role-play and no sex is involved or expected, or that he is looking for a freebie, just a friendly hook up. In the past I have answered to that kind of mails asking what they meant. If I were you, I would not answer this mail to ask wheter he wants a freebie or not, considering the fact that his request is out of your comfort zone.

 

I would answer something short and honest like:

 

"David,

Thanks for your mail. I am glad that you liked my material.

Reading your e-mail I have the feeling that I am not the right escort for you. Thanks for your interest, and I really hope that you will find the right play-mate that will suit your needs better.

 

Hugs,

 

John Doe"

 

If he is a crazy stalker, a soothing, polite mail like that might discourage him to pursue you any further. (Apparently stalkers and weirdos get off on the fear and drama caused by their actions.) If he was indeed a real client, he might consider you in the future if he ever decides either go for vanilla or try to be dominated.

 

Receive a tight hug, a slopy slurp (shame on me.) :p and I hope that you will always work within the healthy limits of your comfort zone.

Why do people think this is a scam? It sounds like a simple "hello" message on gaydar from someone who found Lars to be hot. When I used to be on gaydar I would get messages like that all the time from people just wanting to say hi and maybe see if I wanted to hook up. I don't see what the big deal is.

The answer he got from me wasn´t nice at all. it was as nasty as I could be (many of my clients book me because of that) and I do like to be nasty. unfortunately I didn´t get a reply to that. so I sent him a second mail even more nasty. but even this one got never ever replied. ;(

why do u assume that I would be interested in to hook up with him?

I did this posting only to find out how others would react. and guys u are too polite. may be that is the political correctness?

 

btw. Berlin is a great city and I can recommend every body to go ther for a visite (cheap and direct flights with CO from Newark to Berlin-Tegel). There is a lot to see during the day and certainly the night life is just great and exciting. The Berliners are knowen for looking after their guest.

 

But unless like U I can not remember the time befor the wall came down or the time befor that. I was too young for that.

Now, that's interesting. Why don't you tell us what do you really think about this Nigerian Dominator.

Hmmm, I dunno. I didn't see anthing that needed a nasty response. I think you put way too much thought into this email. It probably meant very little really.

Anton..I am also of the thinking, that the Originator being from "Nigeria" had absolutely Nothing to do with anything, as far as Lar's Original Question is concerned. I'm also pretty sure that, "Whipped Guy' would not mind in the least.. a Very DOM email from the Tall & Goodlooking German!

Actually, I like for the pre-session correspondence whether via email or phone to be carried out in a professional manner. I don’t need or want the dominating to start in the discussion phase. I guess it turns some guys on, but if the guy has a website or reviews you will get a good idea of what he is all about. In Lars’ case his website just about says it all. In fact when I get an email addressed to “Boy” and signed “Sir” or “Master” it makes me think I’m dealing with an immature individual who has a very puerile attitude for what should be considered as a genuine business venture.

 

JT is right. I would not really MIND getting that very dom email… and as I said it might turn some guys on… However, it would make me think twice about the guy…

 

Lars seems to be an "OK guy" who is an up-and-coming figure in the International BDSM World. In this case he revealed some unripe behavior. Perhaps there was also a language barrier problem. With added experience he will learn to act more appropriately.

I have always read your postings with great interest. Indeed, you are one of the preeminent posters on this site and certainly have no need to feel envious of anyone! However, unless I am mistaken and have read something into your posting that you did not intend, I notice the injection of a racial component that I personally never detected in any statement made by Lars. I sincerely hope that I am mistaken. Lars exercised some poor judgment, and his behavior was irrational, but that is all he can be accused of.

 

At any rate, you are indeed correct such ideas certainly have no place in a civilized society… Peace.

Guys sorry that I didn´t take part in your convesation. but my mainjob is looking after my clients, and not looking if somebody respondet to such a posting.

I was completely booked out friday through sunday morning. but others might have more free time.

A good session starts already with exchanging e-mails and when touching base on the phone. in my mails I have the opportunity to show the sub (doesn´t matter if he is a client or not) what I am up to and what the session would be like. a client who is asking for a domination session would be disappointed if I would be using submissive phrases.

writing a rough mail prepares a rough session.
