Has NYC been abandoned by travelers?

Based on the past week or so, it appears that traveling escorts are avoiding NYC... Just wondering what is going on, since we usually have at least a few visitors, especially around holiday times. Has the city just become too expensive to make a visit profitable after the expenses of travel, hotels, food and entertainment? I've understood why visitors charge higher fees in NYC than in their hometowns, due to the high costs of visiting here, and I've been happy to pay them when it meant an opportunity to meet with very-well reviewed guys from out of town.

 

I've found some of my happiest experiences in NYC have been with travelers. I hope the forthcoming holiday season will yield some exciting visitors to the Big Apple!

uwsman..You Got It! The Hotel stays are definitely very Pricey these days. Even the Broom Closets, some Guys stay in...

Especially from now til after Jan 1st..

 

Without Guarantees of Good Biz,from Repeat Clients not many will be here. The only other way to work visiting NYC, is to have "Overnites" for your stays. Thus avoiding Hotels altogether! BUT that ain't an easy Dance Card to Fill! Some guys do Hang with friends during the Day and conduct Biz Overnite..

 

But there are so many Hot guys on Rentboy/NYC, Traveller's are not all that in demand around here! EXCEPT Bruno Gaucho! His Dance Card is always full! LOL :+

LOL. Well I doubt Traveling Working Guys keep up with the Latest NYC Problems But...That Story broke about 2 weeks ago. There was a Report running on NY1 Cable Station also.

I do believe there has been a B/B (not Body Builder) Law suit from an Out of Town Family....

Of course as usual the Low Income people are First effected with "Recycled Cheap Mattresses".

These Bugs don't stay in the Mattress either, They Travel with you, when you leave!

As far as Cheap Hotels go, Apparently in some,they won't be calling them..."Flea Bags" for nothing! I now am glad, I was never a Fan of Hotels....LOL :+

Anton..You have definitely answered the question. IF you'll notice in the Travel Section there are more and more "This is my First Time" visiting.......Notices!

So definitely Working Outside of a Large Market (NYC-LA-MIAMI) could definitely be more financially rewarding,Less Overhead.. And I am sure would lead to Repeat Clients, who would look forward to your next visit. :+

Exactly, "Headlines"..That's the only reason the Media jumped on it so Fast, when the **** was involved in the Lawsuit.

 

Unfortunately NOW, they are beginning to Notice the Low Income Neighborhoods are dealing with it in their Homes. They finally started inspecting all the Cheap Furniture Stores in the Boroughs..

 

I guess the Old Bedtime Rhyme "Sleep Tight, Don't let the Bed Bugs Bite" is back in Vogue! :+

I don't know the answer to your question, but I will say that I have had some experiences with travelling escorts that made me wonder if maybe it's better to stick to the local boys. I mean travelling guys really need to cram in, so to speak, as many customers as they can while they're here, whereas the local guys may have more leisure.

That said, I hasten to add that I have also had some wonderful experiences with travelling escorts. But it is something to consider.

I think it depends very much on the escort and his reasons for being here.

In a thread elsewhere here in the Message Center I mentioned that Devon of SF, a brilliant escort traveller of the past, loved to come to NYC to check out the art museums and galleries, and played the escort game to help cover the costs of his trip. My recollection is that he limited the number of guys he saw in a day, partly so he could have some culture on his trip (including going to see theater).

Then there is the occasional escort who has a housing deal, staying with somebody rather than at a hotel, which makes things much more affordable. But sometimes that means the escort will only do outcalls.

I scanned most of the messages briefly, but I didn't notice anyone mention short-term vacation rentals. I rent someone's apartment every time I visit NYC (usually via Craigslist) and so far it has worked out well -- even when there was logistics like a doorman, etc...

Rome, That definitely is an alternative, that I know at least 2 "Working Guys" from France do when in NYC..They also donot have more than 2 clients a day, so as to not Disrupt their Host's Building in anyway possible.

BUT it probably would not work for the Guy's who Travel and like to keep a "very busy" 24 hrs Sked..Then a Hotel has to be the way to go! LOL :+

I don't know about you, but I am busy, busy, busy. My friend Tommy had two clients from out of town last night. Nick met a man from Washington. Men are getting away from their wives and meeting us online.

 

The men are coming to Chelsea. Us escorts are busy.
