Anonymous Airline Travel !?!

This question is especially for some of the more well-

known escorts who travel (and those that hire them):

 

What is the best way to arrange for travel with

an escort that you don't know? A really cute escort

demanded that airfare be sent in advance by PayPal

so that his real name would remain anonymous and

so he also would be covered "if anything didn't

work out".

 

I'm so not comfortable with that...

 

Can anyone recommend a gay or gay-friendly travel

agency (especially a particular agent who's really

friendly and awesome) that is comfortable booking

"anonymous travel" -- I believe someone on the MC

suggested this. That way, the escort can call

him/her, give their real name to the travel agent

in confidence, my cc info stays anonymous with the

agent and I don't have to worry about

a PayPal scam...

MOST travel agents will do this.

 

Have your escort book his flight, up to the payment point, with his preferred travel agent and have the travel agent contact you for payment information.

 

Or have him give you his preferred flights, and make arrangements for payment through your travel agent with instructions to contact the escort for the traveller information.

When I am booked for travel appointments, I do disclose my legal name to my client. I'd prefer that my client have the most flexibility in making arrangements, and when he has my info beforehand he can make the best arrangements financially. Concurrently, for safety reasons I ask that my clients when traveling ad my legal name to the room registration, just in case there is a family emergency and my S/O needs to contact me. I've had situations where client's travel agents contacted me to get my name in the manner previously described. It worked great for the airfare...but at the hotel checkin I was asked for my id and real name, so either way my "identity" was going to be disclosed.

 

In my opinion, any time you send funds in advance for an appointment, whether for travel or for a deposit, you are asking for trouble. Most reputable escorts, such as myself, consider a prepaid roundtrip ticket as proof enough that you are serious about the encounter.

Hotels

 

I always "add" Franco di Santis to my hotel room reservation. While technically, most three/four star hotels do request that additional guests check in with identification, this has not been a problem. Clients have been able to call the hotel room and reach me, and family and friends have also been able to reach me.

 

Additionally, when I travel, I do use a cell phone service, so personal calls could be routed to me and any other escort in that manner.

 

In three years of travel this has never been a problem - however, I have always bought my own plane ticket and expected the client to reimburse me. Only once did it not happen.

 

I also have only required a deposit in very rare cases, only for out of town overnights where I was not already in the area, and usually only a minimal, good faith amount. Usually this was sent to me via check - one of the few times I believe it is safe for a client to send and for an escort to recieve a check.

 

However, I think I have a good bullshit detector and I would not necessarily recommend to other escorts that they be this trusting. Most clients agree that a round trip ticket is a reasonable "deposit" for an overnight, but would balk at a "princess" request like some escorts do (one Fort Lauderdale escort comes to mind) who requests not only a first class round trip ticket and a 4 star hotel.

Problem is I can't tell the difference with

a couple of emails and a phone call.

For God's sake, don't book an extended session with an escort you don't know, and above all, don't start shelling out the bucks to someone who won't even give you his real name!! (unless you are so rich that the money means nothing to you and you really wouldn't be upset to lose it). This problem has been adressed an umpteen number of times on this message center. Meet eachother first for a short session. After he's satisfied you're not a stalker and feels comfortable giving you his name, you can negotiate the fee for the extended session.
