> the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood

>D-R-I-P-S of sex.

Many have dripped sex there, including Tab Hunter and Tony Perkins the day they first met there -- according to Tab's forthcoming autobio. I would like to have seen that. Or better yet, been in the middle of it.

Excellent topic!

For the most part, hotels are just so-so... they are very benign when it comes to atmosphere. But, when you get a good one, you know it!

Ian Schrager hotels as well as W's and Kimptons have a bit more of a non-hotel feel... so that makes for a change of pace. While conversely, I've had some hot, wild, anonymous sex is seedy motels off in the sticks.

My best advice is to work with the room. If it's boring and plain, jazz it up with what you like... be it music and candles, or rubber sheets and padded headboards.

Finally, making sure the maid knows you had a GREAT stay is the best part.

Happy hotel hunting!

Oh, last thing... my favorite hotels in Boston: 15 Beacon, NineZero, The Charles (in Cambridge), The Millenium, The Onyx....

Several years ago I went to a conference in Tiburon, across the bay from San Francisco. I believe the name of the place was Tiburon Lodge. In any case when I entered my room I was stunned! Huge room - black walls with mirrors, animal prints, king-size bed, and a spa tub in a bay window. It was totally made for sex! }( I was there with my sister-in-law and her husband. Their room was the same layout, but looked like something from the “Golden Girls”. :-(

Unfortunately this was before I had become aware of this site and its many “opportunities”. :( Therefore, I was unable to take advantage of the amenities, except for the spa (alone ;(). One evening with the windows open, I could hear the couple next door (not my sister-in-law!), really enjoying themselves. I should arrange to return with my newfound knowledge. :9

Chain hotels -- especially the mid-range ones -- are the worst. I mean, would you want to get it off in a Hampton Inn, even a Ramada? Thin sheets, frayed towels and the small of disinfectant. I love the way they handle things with a flourish. A Marriott in Wilmington, Deleware, listed on their menu "Starch duJour."

Though the themes sometimes feel forced or overdone, the Library Hotel in New York can be fun. Try the Erotic Literature room, the Love room, the Asian History room for you rice queens out there, or, if you've got a really weird fetish, the Paranormal room. Plus, I like the bar there.

My Kingdom For A Suite

Generally, because they are larger and afford more opportunities (for example, sex in a bathtub, sex on a divan, sex standing again the fireplace, sex on the balcony), larger rooms can be more conducive to sex. However, atmosphere wise, I agree that there are ways to improve any occassion. Two things I always do when I am traveling is finding a chain drugstore that sells tea lamps (Walgreens and CVS both do) and votive candles and buy some for visiting clients as well as my own enjoyment. I also have music I can play on my lap top, and finally, good linens and comfortable beds always help, so Starwood and specifically Westin has a hugh leg up there.

While I really like Marriott as a chain, I would say they tend to disappoint me more than most with their bed quality and linens. I rarely stay at Sheratons, so can not speak to those, four star Hiltons are definitely a vast improvement over 3 star ones (newly renovated properties are also always a great gambit for any chain) and the Park Hyatts are always a great locale as well.

If you like the idea of outdoor sex or semi-public or fully public sex, then the gay resorts are the ticket there in clothing optional places such as Palm Springs.

Sticks and Stones

For clients in your age range, I tend to bring out the Sarah Vaughn and Ella type vocal jazz. For most of my other clients (with an age range of 30 to 50), I tend to play anywhere from ambient trance to things like Groove Armada or the Thievery Corporation.

Since my taste generally and in clients has never even been near the prepubescent set some of you kids hang out with, I do not play any nursery rhymes.

And I met tea candles. They are small, cheap, and have their own containers as far as spillage and mess.

Coin Operated Rides

>Do we still get to wear the neat pink pajammies?

I sleep in the nude, though I do often clutch my ken doll as I sleep, and HIM I prefer in his classic 1950s square cut swim trunks, the one that came with the Malibu Dream House collection. You, my love, may sleep in what ever your little heart desires.

Also, I generally like to fuck guys in a variety of positions, so you would find yourself on your back, on your knees, against the wall, flush with the bed or the floor, but yes, at some point during the night, you would find yourself astride.

Rooms at the Hudson Hotel in NYC some people think are small. But when you're there to fuck you don't need huge amounts of space and I think the atmosphere in them is very sexy.

Also....see if you can get one of the rooms with a shower that looks into the room. Hotness!

RE: Sticks and Stones

Franco Definitely sets the right mood! Personally I find Hotel Rooms Cold, Mostly small, Devoid of any "Atmosphere" whatsoever. My First time in a Hotel was with a well known "International Escort"..Who didn't even have the common sense to turn off CNN,or Subdue the Bright Lights! I had to squeeze between the TV and Bed to get to the Bathroom! I guess he feels he is "Hot Enuff" to bypass any Atmosphere whatsoever. Wrong! But This Guy really knows how to keep the Overhead down! LOL Most Guys Would agree, everyone has more Fun in a "Home" environment. Hotels... They do serve a purpose, depending on your circumstances, BUT a little "Atmosphere" never hurts! :+

I was in Cancun last September and stayed at Villas Tacul, a gay friendly hotel. I got the superior ocean view room and it was the best screw room I've ever had. The resort is hacienda style with 23 bungalows spread out on the 20 acre property. The room I got was right by the beach, has a sliding door that goes out onto the sandy beach. The furnishings were pretty ordinary, what makes it extraordinary was the ocean view. It was sooo great having sex with the curtains open, having this amazing view and hearing the waves splashing. It made the sex hotter. It was one vacation where we were having sex day and night every day while we were there. We even got to have sex right in the water at midnight! That's how close the room was to the ocean. Luckily, the resort was not packed as I went there during the slow season and the guy I was with (a fuck buddy) loves sex and can't have enough of it.

Lucky Steven… Become an escort and see the world…

Just another one of the many “benefits” to being an escort… In fact I always said that if I’m blessed with the “requisite attributes”… that is exactly what I am going to be doing in the next lifetime…

Sure beats the mundane "nine to five" routine!

>Hi Stephen -- I sure did enjoy my "experience" at the Royalton and look forward to an encore the next time you're visiting. Good choice of a room there -- the lighting really showed off your pecs.

You list a Mandarin Hotel. The new Mandarin Hotel in Washington, DC, has rooms just made for fucking.

Btw: any advice on hotels/guys in Edinburgh, Scotland?
