Who would be your choice for a 4 hands at HK? Thinking about spoiling myself this holiday season.

You'll probably get discomfort from both unless they know each other well. Unless you're going for strictly therapeutic.

Went today and had a 45 minute massage with Cody - room was freezing and he kept asking me to turn on the air conditioner cause he was sweating - he also asked me 3 times if I booked a 45 minute massage and then ended abruptly saying I ran out of time and that I should booked an hour massage if I wanted relief

was a Major turn, second bad experience in a row here - which is sad cause my first two times were great

My worst experience there has been with Cody. The only masseur I've seen who actively made it clear how much he hates his job. I felt unwelcome the entire hour. And some of his massage choices (i.e., pouring oil all over the soles of my feet but then not touching them, blasting the AC to the point I was clearly shivering) sucked.

Same here. Worst part was he walked out on me and left me on the table until i got dressed and asked what happened. He did it twice.

Y’all. ME TOO!!!! But so many people love him, but he was very much NNNOOOTTT into my massage. He took time to take off AND PUT BACK ON his pants and socks, and lace up his sneakers before and after the scrub. It was very weird. Maybe we ALL saw him on the same day…and he was sick???  I dunno.

Hello everyone. TBH I'm very surprised about the experience you guys have had with Cody. We will put some time for training with him again . I'm  really grateful for all of your comments

Train him again? I'd say fire him!

Actually its not about his skills but rather his personality, attitude and demeanor. If you can train that, then by all means, train him.

~Sigh.~
Ben is sadly missed. He had a tight rein on the business and his staff. Things have never been the same since he was gone.

Mixed feelings about this. Ben's passing is tragic. Sad. But HK and 27 still provide the best options and experiences. To repeat what many say here YMMV.

I do sympathize with anyone who has a recent bad experience with Cody, but that may be one provider in a group of many good providers. And things run in cycles. Who remembers Hero Spa (Jimmy!), TSMS, East Men, Grandee (what was it called before that --- remember Kenzo?). Utopia. At one time each of these places was my favorite.

Cody's performance aside, I'm really pulling for both HK and 27 to keep it togehter.

Who’s like “in charge” now they Ben has passed? That’s sad. He really improved the spa from when it was in that little like walk up on 27th street
